SpeedoBig Girls' Star Mania Youth Flyback Swimsuit

The pattern on this suit is SUPER cute and we've received compliments on it several times. The fit, however, seems odd. My daughter is tall and skinny. She dances and does gymnastics so she has a nice muscular build (she is also only 6 so no curves.). This suit is tight around her hip area (we have to pull hard to get it over her bottom and onto her hips), but looser toward the bust area. She has a little dip in the suit by her sternum rather than it sitting nice and flat like a suit should. It would seem that perhaps they designed this suit for older girls, but never adjusted the cut proportions for little girls? That still wouldn't explain the super narrow hip cut, but it is what it is. She likes it and the pattern is cute. She, sadly will only get one season out of it because of the narrow hips. It it wasn't for that she would have enough room to get another year out of it.

It's perfect. Size is not too small as i read on some reviews, what happens is that this is an every day swim practice suit, and it is suppose to be tight and very attached to the body, otherwise it rest speed on the athletes. I should have ordered a size 26 (size 8) for my daughter and thinking this was too small since i read it on the reviews i order a 28 (size 10) which is right, but for my purpose is too big. I repeat, this is not an ordinary suit, it's perfect for competition or practice and it is suppose to be tight, go ahead and order it, it's beautiful, very girly, stars shine beautifully, it perfect, just think that if your daughter is a real athlete, order one size down.

Fit is great. Straps stay up without cutting in to my 7 year olds shoulders. Will probably buy again for next competitive swim season!

Very nice material and colours, just difficult to pull up as very tight double layer. Once on fit as expected according to age

Material is too stiff with little give. Runs on the smaller side.

I was expecting this to be for "big girls" as in plus-sized. I will need to return it.

Excellent color and It's a great bathing suit for girls but it's not stretchable.

This suit was way too tight but way too long for my daughter. Not a problem we have had with other brads of swimsuits or dance/gymnastics leotards
