Great chart for helping to set up a reward program for children

Cute chore chart. Not happy with the fact that it keeps falling off the wall. The backing doesn't appear to hold onto the wall.

Don't wast money on buying this product. Very cheap quality.

We have 3 kids who LOVE to help out and are desperately into lists and marking tasks as complete. We have been using a couple of the  Melissa & Doug Deluxe Magnetic Responsibility Chart.  for many years and there are a few things that drove me crazy about them, although they are very highly rated. The small magnets and easily moved pieces are just the start, but really they only included so many of the name your own chore tiles and they stand out like sore thumbs against the backdrop of their pre-made chore magnets. They are also designed for only one child, so we had multiple sets and they take up a lot of room! With one of our kiddos now loving to put everything in her mouth, I had to put the Melissa and Doug systems up and I needed another option.This Reward Star Chart is so much better for what we needed!! In a fraction of the space, I can have chores assigned for 3 children and all 3 of the kids can use the same chart to track their performance. Most of the chores on our list, we expect every child to do, so they all share the spots for completion. We have our 10, 8 and 4 year old using it and there is plenty of room for them to make their marks, as long as they take their time.I love the generous spaces/lines for listing the chore items, too! Our 4 yr old has been reading for a year, but for the upcoming little ones, there is enough room for me to include images (I would print them out) of what chore is being listed.I know they designed the star chart to stick and re-stick, but I preferred to put this on foam board and just move it wherever I need to or want to. I can still remove it and restick it if I want, but I just added  Command Mounting Refill Strips, Large, 6-Strip  to it and stuck it on the wall. It gives us a smooth surface to write on...it's removable if I want (without damaging the wall) and I love the fact that I've only had to stick this to one (very smooth and easy to remove from) surface!I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I have been implementing about responsibility to my 3 year old. He has learned to use the bathroom and brush his teeth in the morning and even clean up his bed when he wakes up so this was a perfect time to use a reward chore chart. I am glad to have gotten this item as my 3 year old gets excited about making sure we make a note of what he has completed. He likes that he is able to see what he has done and what else he has to do throughout the day.This item came in a great condition and I am glad that it wasn't folded or damage during shipping. I really like how there's 3 spots where you can it a name as I can add my almost 2 years old when the time comes. It has an adhesive backing that you can stick and it can easily come off as well. Is very easy to write on it and easy to erase as well. The size of this chart is fairly big enough that's there's plenty of space to write on. I also like that there's an incentive space in the bottom to include how many stars are seemed and what rewards they can have. Overall, I like this chore/ responsibility chart. This reward chore star chart gets 5 stars! Fantastic dry erase chart can be used over and over an over! Easily and prominently display the chore chart for you and your children to keep track of chores and work towards a reward! Completely customizable to suit any needs! I only have two chore age children and they both love using this chart as it makes it easy for them to see what chores they have each day and mark them off as they finish them, they also like being able to look and be reminded of their reward they are trying to obtain. My son is 9 and my daughter is 6, they each have several daily chores according to their age, my daughter vaccums and sweeps while my son does dishes and takes out the trash. As a bonus we added a category of "extra" chores with an "extra" reward. Our rewards are even simple things like "extra TV time" or "dessert pick". Its fun and useful. The board is great quality and erases easily.I received this item at a discount for my honest review.

Naturally, the kids were really excited about this new chart. And I was too. And we have all found that we love how well this works for our needs. I've tried a couple of chore charts with my kids before, but they came with pre-filled chores, or had different sheets for different kids. I love that this has blanks so that you can choose to include whatever chores and tasks you want, and it also condenses tracking for multiple kids onto one sheet. The quality is nice as well, nice and thick, and the dry erase markers I got clean off well. I also love the bright colors. As you can see, it also has plenty of spaces to fill in various chores. I also like the flexibility of being able to change which chores it includes from week to week.The only complaint I have is actually something I both like and dislike. It is sticking up really great in our kitchen. I like that it is adhesive, because usually whenever we try to put something like this up, it always ends up falling down. This definitely isn't going anywhere. However, it would also be great to be able to move this around if/when necessary without having to worry that it is going to lose its stickiness. I guess I could still use some other adhesive to reinforce it if I decide to move it. It seems like it will come off nicely from the wall, although I didn't want to mess with it too much for fear of losing its stickiness.
