I have been using Sentry Fiproguard in my dog rescue for many years and have never had an incident with it. It has not once failed to keep my fogs flea free, and I have had no medical issues with them from sing it. Just today I was talking with another rescuer who used another brand, a well known name, on one of her poodles and it had a seizure. The vet said that there was no doubt it was a reaction to the flea med. I'm grateful nothing like that has happened with the Sentry product. I've never had to waste out a dose because the ampule was badly made and the med leaked out. And I'm grateful for it's lower cost, I go through a lot of this stuff here!

The first time I bought this product for my two small Chihuahuas I brought two 6 months, one box for each of my small dogs for 3 months. The first box worked very well the first three months on both dogs, I was impressed. When I opened the second box the tubs where all sucked in but I could squeeze out the medicine for the next 3 months but my dogs did not started showing any signs of relief from scratching fleas for the next 3 months from the second box of fleas medicine did not work. I stored this flea medicine in my desk in the house that has AC and Heat and could not understand why the second box all the tubs were sucked in and did not relieve my dogs from Asian. The next 6 month I reorder 2 more boxes 3 months on tub for each of my dogs the second time because the first order one box did work very well. Another note: before I put flea medicine on my dogs (who are not outside animals) I gave them both flea baths once a month each time. The next day I applied this product. I found this product again did not work my dog started again scratching the first month. The second order 2/ 6 months has not worked. I am now convinced this product does not work and my dogs had to suffer with fleas. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you.

I have two dogs that are under 22 pounds. They hang out often in the backyard where there's many trees and bushes. I've found ticks on myself there after gardening for few hours on many occasions. So it's very important for me that my dogs get good flea and tick treatment so that no one, including the dogs obviously, gets lyme disease in this house. But as we all know, brand name flea/tick medicine gets expensive!! As a grad student with not a lot of money, I was delighted to find this product with great reviews. I immediately purchased this. This product arrived in a plastic seal and looked quite legitimate. When I opened it, I noticed it was just the six applicators without any paper instruction or warning or whatever. It just looked kind of empty to me. So I panicked, thinking this must be a Chinese knockoff and that this is gonna kill my dogs. So I read the reviews all over again and checked out the seller. My seller was "Sentry Industries, Inc" and there's also other sellers on Amazon that are just "Sentry". So I have no idea who is legitimate or not. But I decided to trust the Amazon reviews and apply the topical on my dogs' backs. I stayed home all day to see if they have any sort of reaction, but they didn't. A month later, I used them again and my dogs are still fine. I haven't found any ticks on them since I started Fiproguard (but the weather's been getting cooler also, so there's less ticks). They both got tested for lyme disease last week and both were negative. So I am pretty certain this product works and it works at a fraction of the cost. I am happy about this purchase and will continue to use it.

We have never had trouble in our new property with fleas until this year. We have 6 acres and can’t spray the entire property. I usually buy bravecto but I’m wanted to try cheaper option. I had another brand expensive and it did nothing for my dogs, I tried another type and it didn’t work either. Powders my dog in diatomaceous earth and nothing worked. Tried this and she is finally flea free. I guess fleas were resistant to the other brands hehe

I've been using this product, Sentry Fiproguard, on my dogs for several years now. It is considerably cheaper than Frontline and Advantage. I don't always think it is the most effective product, but neither are the brands made by their competitors at higher prices. Living in damp Kansas, the area is hopping with fleas. You can't stick your foot out the door without getting chomped on. So I have to also apply an insecticide to the yard. And after bathing, which I do for mine every two weeks, I apply a holistic spray by Vet's Best spray with peppermint and cloves to kill off eggs. Sentry's does not kill eggs. This routine keeps mine flea-free as well as the house. My main complaint about Sentry's product is that an expiration date cannot be found anywhere on the product. Not on the outside of the box. Not on any of the tubes. Each time I buy the product, I have to call them directly to ensure whomever I purchased it from has not sold an expired or counterfeit product. It would be great if Sentry could start listing an expiration date on their products. This is a normal thing to do with pharmacological products.
