Medebra is a garment that accommodates many needs post surgery and in every day life. Medebra is designed with top surgeons’ approval and has received national media attention praising our comfortable and caring design described below. The seamless one-piece design provides maximum comfort throughout recovery, conforms to breasts to give a natural looking shape under clothing, is easy to put on, and prevents shoulder irritation plus protects sensitive areas from scratching or brushing. Medebra's seamless design also provides great support and comfortability while securing bandage dressings without the need for tape or additional "ace-type” bandages The medebra also features exclusive stretch material that is secure, soft, and lightweight for the entire duration of recovery and even for use after. Designed specifically with top surgeon’s approval, the cotton and lycra stretch knit fabric permits surgical site to breathe and won’t cause any irritation. No latex is in our product. Medebra's material is designed also to expand during recovery and helps flush fluids from past trauma. Velcro strap design allows easy application of the product to sensitive patients. Creating the velcro strap closure in the front instead of the back reduces arm discomfort and allows patients to undo and put on the bra with ease and dignity, no cumbersome hook and eye closure or clips. The strap’s simplicity also allows easy access to chest ports and catheters while also facilitating dressing changes and examinations by your doctor. Medebra is truly a do-it-all, one of a kind product and is reimbursable by most insurances!

Runs Small!
Way too small. I normally wear a 36 D or DD depending on brand. I purchased this when I had a chemo port installed because regular bras and sports bras irritated the scar. It was not worth exchanging as I just don't have the energy for all that right now. I made due with what I had and thankfully work in a small office where nobody cared if I did not look great.

Question more than review
We bought the 38-40 for our mother, she is a 38DD, and this size was way too tight, so we are returning it. She actually has lung cancer and has a plural cathader and liked the bra and would like us to order one that fits better. What size would you recommend for her?

This is the worst product I've ever purchased
This is the worst product I've ever purchased. It was expensive and had to be bought. I was having surgery and the doctors demanded I use this type of bra for my recovery period. I thought at least I could still go on using it. After my operation I had it on for 2 days and I noticed the front fastening material was coming apart. I don't mean coming off the bra. It was firmly stitched on. The fastening material itself was disintegrating. I've never seen this happen before, miles of thread coming out until the two pieces no longer stuck together. I was in no shape to repair it and I'm too disappointed in it now to try. I don't recommend buying it.

I woke up like this.
The week before my double mastectomy I spent hours driving from one Target to another in search for a soft, wireless, front closing sports bra for long recovery after surgery. I knew that I was suppose to wear a compression style bra to reduce inflammation. Needless to say, the only thing I found was myself crying in the isle filled with frustration and fear.Well, when I woke up from surgery I was wearing this. The hospital had put me in a Medebra while I was out and I lived in it for the next 3 weeks, only taking it off to wash it. It was easy to get on and off, even with my extremely limited mobility, since even the shoulder straps have Velcro. They also have a Velcro pouch that can be attached to hold the drain bags (rather than pinning them to your clothes).I was so grateful to have this bra while I healed.
