I've tried several versions of cheese slicers that use a stainless steel wire. Either the wire kinks, becomes loose, or disconnects from the handle entirely.This unit has no wire. Instead it uses a sharp blade that's attached to the arm. It's easy to clean, but be careful of the blade. It's very sharp.It's nice to get a German Made product with German Quality at a reasonable price.I highly recommend this Slicer.

The product is advertised as cheese and meat cutter. I’ve tried various cheeses, it cuts only the dry ones. Block of Schwarzwald bacon was not match for this cutter, salami, and other smoked/dried meets cannot be sliced with it either. All in all, rubbish.

Utilisé pour trancher un bloc de fromage en tranches. Parfait ! Je recommande cet appareil facile à utiliser et à nettoyer.
