Q: Does the cap contain any plastic components?

The cap is comprised of a bamboo exterior and a white plastic interior. The white plastic does come into contact with whatever liquid you have in the bottle. I wish I knew if the white plastic was BPA-free and/or safe. Anyone?

No, the sleeve is removable but it also has a small hole at the bottom allowing water to go through

Q: Silicon protective sleeve ripped and looking for replacement. Where can I get them?
