They are plastic beads. I bought pink and blue both have been great.

No I do not have matching ear rings.

This strap of pears sits anywhere from on the collar bone (the shorts strand) to around and inch below with the rest falling on from there. They are very pretty and look more espensive than they are. A very good buy. I hope this helps.
