This is exceptional. An enjoyable and fun way to go through the history of His Story; the way God moved through society, cu;ture, governments, religious institutions, and the minds of men from just before Christ's birth to today. This cd offers 47 fifteen minutes or so overviews of what was taking place in the world during different periods of time. It is interesting to be able to clearly see how man's fallen nature and tendency to go our own way (with temptations from the evil one) has from the very first century and before been at work to oppose God's perfect plan for us. I am already listening to this a second time and some parts a third time. Get this cd. You will be very well pleased.

I listened to this series over the course of a few weeks before starting my first year of study at a master's level evangelical seminary in Europe. Now that I've taken a full years worth of church history here at school I can look back and say that as a brief overview of the important peoples and events in the history of the church, this series accomplishes it's goal. I would recommend it to anyone with only one warning... Todd Friel can be kind of annoying.

It is very entertaining and informative. I, however, can not do the listen-to-it-in-my-car-while-I-drive-to-work thing because they talk faster than I can listen and absorb the information. I have to sit down and really listen to it and take some notes. But I would recommend it to anyone interested in church history. These guys know what they are talking about and present it in a very entertaining way.

This audio it is outstanding! I desire to grow in the knowledge of God. I have always been interested in church history but I never knew it would literally change the way I understand the Bible and the sovereignty of God. Other than the Bible, this is one of the most valuable resources I own. There is so much information that I am now listening to it for a second time.

You might not think you need to understand church history, but you do. A great resource for any Christian, or anybody else for that matter!

So awesome to learn on my way in the car! And funny too. Todd Friel is such a great teacher with humor.

This is truly inspiring book and it really opened my eyes.
