Perfect for running high quality games on max settings.
Just a perfect gaming laptop. Not without its bugs, it is an Acer, and I had to send mine back into the store second or third week because THE BATTERY CHARGER PORT BROKE!!! But other than that it’s worked fine and preformed EXCELLENTLY when running high quality games at max settings with no need for turbo.

Amazing purchase - just needs to come down in price
paid around $1800 for this at time of purchase. Great laptop and solid construction. Speakers are loud and machine is fast, plays the new Call of Duty without breaking a sweat. My only gripe at all is this weird clicking noise when the charger is plugged in and I spin the adapter that goes in the side. Seems to have no effect on the charge and it's just an audible thing if I spin the connector to adjust it when I move it in my lap.Overall I'd buy this thing again, it's slick, light for a gaming laptop, and the battery life lasts me about 8 hours of normal browsing/shopping/word/email/youtube. I get a ton of compliments on this thing, the only thing I'd wish I had was more support for skins/wraps/screen protectors. I was hoping to just find some but at the time I looked a month ago. Ohwell.

Just perfect.
Was undervolted by -0.1V when arrived with Cinebench R20 score of ~2,400.Able to further undervolt to -0.165V for ~10% increase in Cinebench R20 score to ~2,600.Needed to use ThrottleStop to undervolt as Intel XTU's settings would not stick.Didn't see any difference in Cinebench R20 score with Turbo on or off.

Very solid
Have had this laptop for a month now and have used it at least a couple hours a day everyday since and I am very happy with it. Nice design with great specs, some reviews online made me think there might be a lot of flex in the keyboard but there is hardly any at all. For any gamers when playing league I get 20ping and have 180-200 fps. I would totally recommend this to anyone who's looking for a lightweight gaming laptop, with great thermals and having had had no reliability issues. If there's one thing to improve on that would be battery life but its not bad, just not really great like you would find on a macbook pro for example. Also people complain about fan noise and I'll be playing classic all night next to my significant other and have never had a complaint and I genuinely feel its not loud at all and has been blown way out of proportion just like flex in the keyboard.

I'd say it's probably one of the best thin and light laptop there is.
After returning two defective Aero 15s, I decided to try the Triton 500, and I'm pretty happy with it.Pros:1. Runs pretty quiet for a thin and light gaming laptop. Don't get me wrong, this class of laptops ALL get really loud under heavy load, so putting on your headphones while gaming is pretty much a must. But this one is quiet in several ways: (1) The Predator sense software allows you to turn off your fans completely. This is extremely helpful when you're in a quiet environment and only want to do some web browsing. (2) Apart from the noise level, the fans doesn't ramp up and down as frequently as the ones in Aero 15 do, and fans don't have a clutching noise when they turn on. (3) The pitch of the fans are normal and you don't hear the high pitch "turbo whine". Having no high pitch noise sounds way better given the same dB level.2. Very very good keyboard. Although there's no numpad, the tactile feedback is way better than the keyboard on the Aero 15.3. Good 144Hz screen with good brightness and response time.4. Decent ~84 WHr battery provides a few hours of unplugged (non-gaming) usage.Cons:1. Build quality could be better. As shown in the pictures, the right side of the trackpad is about 1mm sunken. It doesn't hurt the look much but when you put your finger on the right of the trackpad you could feel the sharp edge of the chrome plated part of the chassis. I guess I could have gotten a replacement because this should be a minor defect but I just don't want to go through the trouble again.2. An inverted motherboard means that you pretty much can't upgrade your RAM or SSD.3. No per-key RGB control. I honestly couldn't care less about this. It's listed as a con here just because I know some gamers would see this as a deal breaker.4. No SD card reader. An integrated SD card reader would be nice, but since I already carry a 5kg camera bag, packing a usb card reader isn't much more effort.
