Irish Spring Men's Body Wash Shower Gel, Aloe Vera - 18 fluid ounce (Pack of 6)

Irish Spring made one of my favorite bar soaps back in the good old days, so when they came out with a body wash with aloe vera, I wanted give it a try. I'm not a big fan of all these body washes that claim to be 24hr scented or formulated for him/her. I just want a soap that does what it says it will do and not leaving my skin feeling dry or damaged after a few uses. Thankfully, Irish Spring had years to practice their formula, which I will say they got right here. First, the body wash isn't overly scented. No scenes of women tackling you or men riding horses here. This is just pure and simple soap with a mild scent to freshen up. The added aloe vera was a big seller for me, as it keeps my skin feeling refreshed throughout the day without the drying that some cheaper or heavily perfumed soaps cause. Second, the soap is so well formulated that I can wash my face and without rinsing, shave effortlessly without any irritation or discomfort. I get to wash and shave without needless extras in the shower. Soap - check. Shampoo - check. Razor and mirror - check. Nothing much else needed. Finally, I've used plenty of soaps that require huge amounts on your washcloth or loofah in order to build a good lather. That has not been my experience with this body wash. A small squirt and the foam builds enough to ensure proper cleaning. No one likes to waste their money on an inferior product and I'm glad Irish Spring values me enough to make a quality product at a decent price. Overall, I'm very happy with this body wash. I've tried numerous other washes with similar promises of smooth/moist skin that have always failed to deliver. Add in the bonus of being able to shave with this soap and it is a winner every time. This was nearly impossible to find in my local stores - so I'm glad Amazon picked it up as a product line.

I have been buying this for years and use it as my daily body wash. It has a much more natural and pleasant scent than the original, to me personally, and since it has Aloe and I live in a sunny place, I feel it helps. I have sensitive skin, for example, when I go to a hotel, their bars of soap for shower or hand washing usually cause dry skin sensation and itch. I have never gotten any sort of rash from this in all the years of use. I also buy the six pack and give some to my father and he has not had any issues as well. It is not a very sudsy body wash so don't expect much foam but you do feel clean and that is what matters. I do not use a rag by the way. I do use a fair amount per wash but for the cost it is fine. I definitely recommend this product unless you have the bad luck of being allergic to one of the ingredients.

This item is something I use everyday I love that it is easy on your skin and leaves you feeling clean. I was disappointed with the delivery aspect of is all when it was shipped the box was smashed in shipment and the bottles were leaking inside the box. Some clear tape on the tops on the bottles should fix that problem so they cannot pop open in transit.

Not as good as hydrated brand. No freshness smell.
