Heater broke immediately - doesn't work on hairline cracks
It comes in a professional box which was impressive, but the heater tool broke after about 30 seconds of use (see picture of me holding it while on.) Fortunately, I had a Weller soldering gun with a smoothing tip (second picture) so I threw the heater tool away and used this. However, this does not work on hair line cracks (third picture) because the crack is too small to allow any appreciable amount of filler to penetrate it and the black crack continues to show through. This is not a flaw with this product (all similar products have this issue) but it would be nice if the manufacturer disclosed this so tile novices like me would know it doesn't work for my situation.I was able (using a Dremel - not supplied) to enlarge a hair line crack (last two photos) and fill it with reasonable results. I would need to do more work on the color matching though to make this look good. The bottom line for me is that I'm now wondering if the repaired hairline crack actually looks that much better than the original hairline crack to be worth the effort.I would recommend this for fixing large (non-hairline) cracks, but doubt that is worth it for hairline cracks.

Great little tool
Good product, effective to fix small chips in tiles.i was lucky to have a filling product included very close to my tiles color. unique downside is that you need to keep the button constantly pressed in order to keep the tip hot. other that that very easy to use.

Don’t waste your money
The heat tool is awful! The clay works well. You get what you pay for.

Great alternative to expensive tile replacement
was able to repair holes in bathroom wall tiles using this. The wax color sticks in the kit matched my travertine tiles perfectly and you can barely tell where the holes were. It was pretty easy to master the tool and to blend the color sticks. Highly recommend this product.

Need to match
The material served the purpose but matching the color is no easy task

Not as good as you’d like
Hard to get into small cracks, matches well but then attacks dirt like crazy

The tool broke after 5 mins.
I ended up using a heated butter knife to heat up the hard wax and apply it to the tile. The wax worked as intended though.

It does work !!!
It works but it will not be 100% unless you can make the perfect colour to match your tile. The tools are easy to easy, all you need is just a bit patience. I fixed three small holes on the gloss surface of floor tiles. It is unnoticeable and my family is satisfied with it. It’s better than the liquid or glue solution.

Week heater that doesn't melt the wax properly
The heater works with 2xAA batteries that are not simply not strong enough to melt the wax properly.
