These give a good insight into the SH stories. My only downside is that there does appear to be a lot of long words that children don't understand, so I spend a lot of time explaining what the words mean. Oh well, she'll learn more at least!

Great start into Sherlock Holmes stories.Well written! Perfect for my 8 year old.

i was in two minds whether my children would find it too advanced but my daughter(8) loves it , i still think there's a lot of concepts that need explaining but if you don't present the kids with a challenge they'll never learn anything, all in all a good purchase for those kids that like mystery stories.

Lovely book, interesting story, my son liked it. Good value for money.

My 7 and 10 year old daughters both enjoyed reading the Sherlock stories included in this book. However, I felt that the stories had been condensed a little too much. But all in all, a good introduction to Sherlock Holmes.
