Review: Good price and deivery. Review: I can't believe I lived to be this old and had never read this! I read a bit over half of the sequential chapters and had to skip to the end, so I could write my review for GR & print out notes (from the review & all forms of my notes) for my banned book club meeting. (The library provides print copies, but I had to get my own, so I could highlight & make marginal notes, in addition to more lengthy notes on index cards (big ones); my son dropped by, saw what I had spread out on my table and laughed: "You're not reading; your studying!" What a brilliant man Darwin was! I loved getting my head into scientific theory, even if far removed from my discipline (sociology) & couldn't wait to discuss his theory, how he developed (my methodology was grounded theory--start with the data & as you develop the theory, test it against new data, so I got this and appreciated it). Sadly, no one else in the club as read nearly as much as I had (I suspect this was true for the librarian leading the group, too), never mind having "really" read it, so the group talked about anything other than the theory itself!!! This led to a disagreement with the librarian (private, via email) and my decision to leave the club. It was SUCH a terrific book & deserved to be discussed.

Quick and perfect delivery. Mind you what I received in the mail, was not as displayed in the image so loss of points for that. Cover difference isn't a big deal, but I don't like when sellers take liberties there. But excited to read

Overall, the book is in good condition. The paper quality is decent, and the printing is excellent. The content is well-detailed and thoroughly explained. Since this book is published by Penguin, there’s no doubt about its authenticity. I recommend buyers opt for the Penguin Classics edition, as books of this nature require in-depth explanations and references from reliable sources.
