Well it's hard to review dog food, but my dogs love it. The smell is what you would expect for pet food. My dogs get it as a treat in addition to their dry food. It appears to be good quality.

My now 2.5 year old Yorkie wouldn't eat anything. I adopted her at 7 months old and she had only eaten dry food and very little at that. She was very underweight so the vet gave me food that would help fatten her up and also encouraged me to make a certain mixture of real meat and veggies for her. Long story short, she didn't eat the dog food but did eat the people food and then she shunned dog food because she thought she was human. I tried everything from Alpo to Pedigree to Mighty Dog to pouches with sauce and on and on. Nope. She would rather starve. I decided to give Cesar a try a while ago because, well, it couldn't hurt. Molly shunned it at first. But after a few days of me adding just a bit of cooked chicken to the food, she started to eat it. And now, she is a happy, healthy 8 pound dog food eating Yorkie! She really likes this brand - and ONLY this brand. She won't eat the Pate but loves the stuff that looks like real food. I have been buying this in singles at the store but saw the cases here and bought two. My dog loves both the flavors and I feel so relieved that she is actually eating regularly without having to be tricked into it with people food hidden in her dog food (or is it the other way around?). Although the ingredients probably aren't the very best that can be found in a dog food, my dog is healthy, energetic, happy and finally, well fed. I will continue to buy this brand in the cases as long as my dog gobbles it up. The little containers are small and the price per is more than other brands but Caesar is still affordable compared to similar other brands. For us, this is a 5 star dog food. My vet gave it the thumbs up and said Molly is very healthy and needs no supplements as she had been taking. If your little dog is picky, this brand just may do the trick! My dog has been sick and has refused to eat foods he used to love as it seems he built an aversion to them. This popped up when I searched for picky eaters. So glad I tried it because my dog loves it. He is excited about eating food again thanks to this. The food looks and smells like real smothered steak bites which I think why it’s such a winner for picky eaters.

My dogs love these!!!!!! I love that I can use the containers the food comes in as paint trays at school- they are the perfect sharing size (after washing first, of course). They are easy to serve...just pull top back, turn upside down on a plate, lift, & you're done. It must taste great because my dogs gobble it down in about 10 seconds....they lick the plate completely clean.

These individual containers of dog food are perfect for my miniature dachshund. She doesn’t eat much so a regular can of dog food will last about 4 days which means having to refrigerate it and then serving it to her cold and she doesn’t like cold. She seems to like the taste of this brand and hasn’t had any adverse digestive issues (no diarrhea, vomiting or constipation) either.i like that it has good ingredients and not a bunch of fillers. You can see the chunks of meat in it and it doesn’t smell which is a big plus for me. I’ll definitely buy this again.
