Standard embroidery thread which is 40

Q: Does the spool fit on a Babylock embroidery machine?

I have a Brother Duetta 4500d (Babylock machines are related), but I had to use a separate cone/spool thread stand. It's a pretty tall cone.

Q: Is this the shiny white thread?

Yes it’s the 40 weight shiny rayon.

Q: Does this thread shrink and can I dye it with procion dyes?

It is the only brand I use. It does not shrink. I don't know about procion dyes.
