I'm new to watercolor painting and these are perfect size for practice, great quality, very sturdy pages that don't rip out when you don't want them to. When I need more I'll buy these again. No bleed through.

Nice little watercolor book. The paper has a nice texture and takes the paint well. Small enough to take along for walks for quick sketches, too. Pages have perforations so you can tear out a page if you want to give a painting away.Whether a beginner of an experienced painter of watercolors, you will enjoy using this sketch pad/watercolor book. The price is right, too!

This paper is not fancy and not good for completed pieces because it is not cotton. However, it works very well for practicing or for sketches. I love it as a beginner figuring out if I want to invest in higher quality materials for watercolor. The paper does warp but the thickness helps combat the warping. It actually warped less than 25% cotton paper I tried (though that was my first attempt at stretching watercolor paper so the warping with the cotton may have been user error).

Theses books are good for beginner watercolor artists. They are easy to use and look good.

I’ve been doing a lot of sketching lately. Mostly with soluble ink, watercolor pencils, and watercolor paint. This paper works great, is a good size, and cute to carry around with the roses on the front. I think it’s a good value also.

This is my second order for these sketch books. I use them for watercolor and the paper is really nice. There is a perforated edge so you can remove one easily if you want to cut in half for two smaller sections. I'm now using my third book. The paper is quite heavy weight. It's made in China @ 140 lb.

This is great for a travel painting journal or practice exercises.. Just be aware that the absorbency isn't that great, so you won't be framing any of the work.

These books are great to practise in and are removable if you love what you painted !

These are the perfect size to travel with in a tote bag or a purse if you are looking to paint on the go. I don’t pretend to be a professional. In fact, I am a beginner with watercolors, but that is what appealed to me about this set. They are greater quality than what you would purchase at the dollar store, but won’t break the bank if you’re starting out and prone to small mistakes. I have a lot more freedom with my art when I’m not worried about ruining an expensive canvas. I use them for small flower or animal sketches. Plus as a busy mom it’s nice to have something that I can quickly tuck away even when I’m using it at home. I would certainly recommend to a beginner. The paper is thick enough to hold up to watercolor.
