Riveting. A True Page-turner. Highly Recommend.
Like Reggie Jackson on a fateful October night, Zack O'Malley Greenburg has hit his third consecutive home run! This one, the most towering of them all. Just as in "Empire State of Mind" and "Michael Jackson, Inc.," Greenburg's first two triumphs, he delves into the business acumen, personalities, and lore of the music industry -- separating fact from generally-accepted-truth. But this book goes further still. It's raw and riveting, and a meticulously sourced look at the men who would be king. Greenburg writes of their successes, yes; but also their failures, which, interestingly, led to even greater successes down the road for all three men -- Diddy, Dre, and Jay-Z. On a personal note, as a novice when it comes to hip-hop, I found these stories just as compelling as I imagine I would have as a devoted fan. I purchased this book since I enjoy the author's writing style so much, and "3 Kings" certainly delivered.

I've read and enjoyed Greenburg's other books
Heck yes. I've read and enjoyed Greenburg's other books, and this follows in their footsteps - insightful, fun, smart, and with enough backstage sleuthing to surprise even the most devoted hip hop fans.
