Where's the Sloth?: A Super Sloth Search and Find Book

I bought this for my Mum who ADORES sloths! It’s a great add on to my main birthday present and really made her day! I love how instead of just finding 1 sloth (like where’s Waldo) you have ten different sloths all with their own personality! It certainly makes the whole searching for the sloth game longer! Would recommend to any sloth lover.

Absolutely loved this book, very clever and current and up to date with the sloth, unicorn & llama craze at the moment. There is 10 sloths to find in there and it seems like each page the difficulty increases which makes the book more fun and more challenging. It’s a better version of where’s wally! If you love sloths then this book is for you. Looking for sloths in a crowded place is when each one has own personality and fun little outfit on is a good laugh and lots of fun for all ages.

I bought this book as a present for my partner so we can sit down and relax while searching for some cute sloths; which they are cute!While some pages are challenging to find all the sloths and the difficulty does increase slightly as you travel through the capital cities, it’s not as detailed as Where’s Wally, which means there’s less to go back in the book to look for.There are some hidden jokes, (SPOILER) such as the Queen in London, which is depicted as rainy with construction work ongoing - a bit too cliché for my liking and that is a theme throughout.Overall, it’s great for anyone and easy enough for children. The only thing I would change is the scale to be smaller so the challenge can be on par with similar books of the hunting genre.

I had gotten the Easter bunny one last Easter and my daughter really enjoyed that. She had asked several time can I get her some more books. The last time she had asked she pointed out that she wanted the unicorn one. After reading the reviews on it I didn’t think it was appropriate for my 6 year old so I got her the sloth one instead. I expected her to be disappointed but she wasn’t and it’s her new favourite book looking for all the sloths and then there’s a list of 5 other things per page to look for. Some are very easy to find and others are a bit hard to find and so are some of the sloths. Then she wanted me to find new things for her to find! It’s been read cover to cover many many times in the short time she’s had it... I guess I will have to get her another one as well.

Great book. My 4 year old loves this book, my teens have even had a go at this keeps them entertained for an hour! Will be buying the other "where the" books from this author. Where's the sloth? Or rather, where are all the sloths?! There are multiple sloths to find on each page, then a further set of items to find once you have read the book and found the sloths. The illustrations are lovely and child friendly, the sloths are not too hard to find so it isn't super frustrating for little ones, and the extra items provide a bit more of a challenge. The narrative through the book, coupled with the images give a glimpse in to different cultures around the world, something my child enjoyed.
