Great purchase - good price
Bought this for my daughter who can't sleep on her back (side sleeper). She was using for about a week my old pregnancy pillow which is a one piece (heavy and bulky). Saw this one and thought it would be better for her. It arrived sooner than expected, she used it the first night and stated that she had the best sleep she has had in over the last 6 months. The best part about the pillow is that the smaller back is attachable to the larger pillow but you can move it up / down or completely remove it. She likes that she can place it just where she needs it for her back each time she uses it. She can now take some of the pressure off her side and shoulder and sleep a little more on her back. It is light weight but does the trick for her. She will be taking it to college with her. One of the best purchases made for all the things she needs for a better night's sleep while attending school.

Not what I expected, but good quality
I had hoped this would be more substantial than it is. It isn't nearly as thick as my other pregnancy pillow. I'm also not a fan of how the two pieces connect. I had an issue with the piece of fabric between them getting bunched up when I laid down or moved around, and I'd be able to feel it underneath me. For someone who doesn't want a really thick pillow this may be a good option. While I didn't use this as I intended, it still proved helpful for me. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so I tend to find a use for just about any pillow to support my joints in some way. I've had no issues with the quality of the product so it seems to be well made.

This thing works. Proper texture, not "lumpy" at all.
I did a ton of research, and read through so many product reviews on a ton of similar pillows. This one got knocked a bit among other reviews for the Velcro, but here's the deal...I bought this for my wife, who has had a ridiculous pregnancy. First off, twins. Second off, non-stop "mourning" sickness (Ya I know, that's wrong, but its also right, ok?).So here's this poor, sick lady getting super big faster than she should, and what happens? Complications. You know the drill. Abnormal pregnancy issues, meaning bed rest. Oh, and that's all well and good, except she gets an abscess. So literally everything in the world hurts. Poor lady ended up in the hospital for 5 days due to this thing. It's kinda gross, but this darn pillow got run through the ringer. It has been exposed to literally every sort of body fluid there is. Each time I simply zipped off the cover, washed it, zipped it back on. Smells fine, zero stains.Impressed yet? You should be. Why only 4 stars then, you may ask. Well first off, 5 star ratings are typically boring, purchased ratings with BS to blow smoke up your butt. I ain't one of those fancy-schmancy idiots tryin' to get paid for this, and if you're reading this, neither are you. So if you're like me, you ignore the 5 star schmucks and check out the 2/3/4 star ratings (because 1 stars are the competition trying to undervalue their ratings). And yes, the Velcro is annoying and can be uncomfortable. Here's two things about that: first, put the spiky part facing down. This means ya gotta flip the attachable pillow if you change sides. Annoying, sure, but helps with the comfort. Second, throw down a soft blanket, sheet or even drape a pillow case over the strap that goes under ya.Perhaps not ideal, but here's the thing: that strap means the pillow "pulls" into your body. You won't get that with a "U" pillow. So plain and simple, if you want a little back support while sleeping on your side (because that's all you can do when you're pregnant), then get this sucker, throw a blanket on it, and feel just a bit more comfortable during the most uncomfortable time of your life. And folks, if your lady is pregnant, get her a darn pillow. These things are worth the expense. I'd recommend this one, but I hope you find one works for ya'll. Good luck, and take care of yourselves!

Issues with rolling over
This pillow is great and cozy! I just can’t keep from rolling over. I feel like the little band in between the two pillows could be smaller. Even when I have it as tight as it will go I still wake up on my back.Other than that I have no complaints! I don’t get too hot with it and it doesn’t make me sweat (it’s 90°F weather right now).

Love it
I like that there’s a small and large pillow and it’s customizable to fit your needs/size. I’m plus size and I can adjust the width between the pillows or slide the connector band up and down where I need support most. I can also take off the connector and just use the small pillow between my knees and cuddle the J pillow. It’s been a great item!

Not very sturdy
I got this to help remove some of the pillows that I was using which took up most of the bed... but still be able to use my regular head pillow AND hopefully not overheat with the cooling case... This pillow is not very sturdy. I find myself constantly rolling onto my back which is nor recommended during pregnancy. I also find that the leg support is iffy and it feels like I'm not getting enough support all over with this pillow. I do find it temporarily comfortable, but anything past a nap and I wake up feeling like areas weren't supported right and im overheating bad. This leads to achy hips, back shoulders and waking up at night with round ligament pain and feeling like ive been out in the sun. If I wasn't pregnant, this pillow might have gotten 5 starts, but as of now, it is only worth 3.

Comfy
I’m not pregnant but I like feeling tucked in when I sleep. This does the job.

Comfortable but smaller than expected
I really liked that you could use your own pillow and the detachable smaller pillow was great for when rolling over to keep between my legs for continued support since I can’t sleep in one single position all night. It stays in place better than using two regular pillows between the knees and behind your back. If you’re tall it is skinnier than expected. The models in the pics have to be fairly short. I’m 5’10 and if I put the body pillow between my knees it goes barely halfway the length of my thigh. The pics makes looks super thick to support the whole thigh but it doesn’t. The pillow is about the width of my forearm only. So heads up on that tall ladies. I still find if comfortable but it doesn’t keep my hips perfectly straight as if I was using a regular head pillow cause they are wider and thicker.
