Fit my son perfectly. Better than the ones he had received from the orthodontist!

I don't know why it's called a strapped mouthguard. We didn't want a strap, and it doesn't have one. It's the only mouthguard we could find that fit's over my son's braces. He's very satisfied with it. He prefers smaller ones for easy breathing, but they just don't fit one this braces, so he's getting used to it. Love that it's no-boil.

I have purchased Shock Doctor mouthpieces in the past for my kids and have been very happy with the level of protection provided at a very reasonable price. There has been a lot of press around football and concussions lately, and while the data isn't definitive that mouthpieces can prevent concussions, no one seems to disagree with the fact that there is value in the extra protection they provide. It only takes a few dollars extra to get your child a quality mouthpiece.My oldest won played football in college and each year they would make a custom mouthpiece for each player. He looked at the Shock Doctor mouthpiece I bought for his younger brother last year and was very impressed with the quality of this off-the-shelf mouthpiece.Between last football season and this my second son had braces put on and needed a different mouthpiece for that application. He reports being happy with the mouthpiece through the first three games of the season. The durability seems to be excellent, but he isn't what I would consider hard on mouthpieces.If you are looking for a high quality mouthpiece for a player with braces at a great value then this mouthpiece is a good choice.
