Good weight and decent quality
The ball is of decent quality and good stitching. Good as a spare catch ball. Not used for batting yet

I don't know what the 6 oz weight means but it throws like a regular softball and it's genuine leather. No complaints.

This "heavy ball" is a good way to warm up ahead of a softball / baseball game. It is not intended to be thrown hard, but just enough to help loosen up and warm up your arm muscles before a game or practice. After warming up with this, when you then switch to a regular softball (as in my use) the ball feels like a cork at first! It is an interesting feeling. I recommend this as a great way to warm up your throwing arm.
