Orion Children's Books Secret Club: 2

My 9 year old devoured this book in a day. Once a reluctant reader this is one to aim for. Full of humour it captured my sons full attention. Had him laughing out loud.

Came same day ready for daughter to take on holiday. Very happy child! :)

More things we would have liked to have done when we were young,but would have got a clout for our troubles.Just a word of advice - check the contents before buying as some of the anthology may already appear in other books ( that is a rule of thumb - it doesn't necessarily apply to this book,but I have come across it)

These books are fun reading for my kids and the story line is harmless enough that children know it's a story

Don't be put off by the TV version, the books are much better. Our little boy belly-laughs at the stories, and particularly liked this one. He's just at the age where 'being in a club' sounds very exciting. Great fun every bedtime.
