Nettech Vizio Universal Remote Control for All VIZIO BRAND TV, Smart TV - 1 Year Warranty

I bought this Vizio Remote for my wife’s old Vizio smart TV. We had lost the original remote years ago and was using a direct TV remote that was sketchy at best. I received this package in a bubble wrap envelope. The remote was wrapped in plastic with a new set of batteries. I put the batteries in and it works flawlessly. Yes, you read that right. Put the batteries in and it controls the TV. No setting up or programming was required. For around $12 I couldn’t be happier.

This is a replacement remote. It works exactly like the original and the instructions were easy.

We bought a 42" Vizio flat screen from a friend for $20. It worked fine but there was no remote. My wife is now using it for her second computer monitor, but wanted a remote, so we ordered this one. It worked fine the moment the included batteries were installed. Well worth the small amount of money it cost. By the way, lest you think they were careless to lose the remote, I should mention that some time earlier we had been visiting their home. I handed one of their remotes to their two year old and asked him to please throw it away, and he ran right into the kitchen to do so. Mom may have directed some unfortunate language toward me as she ran to retrieve it. Apparently the two year old thought this was a fun game, and was likely to pitch any remote he found within reach into the trash. I find this funnier than the parents did.

I bought this replacing my original remote control. It’s a little different but works well. I mostly use the one I have downloaded onto my phone. This one is a good replacement.
