I'm an avid salsa dancer at a local club and was looking for some way to keep up a cute red strapless dress so I wouldn't have to worry about it falling while I was dancing. There isn't much time to really..."correct" your dress while dancing without looking awkward, so I needed something that would really do the job.I looked around at various ways to keep something in check, from pinning the dress to a bra (which wouldn't really help in my case), to other random fixes. When I found these, there seemed to be nothing but praise for them, so I decided to give it a shot. And I am incredibly happy I did.The tape itself came right on time, and I decided to take it for a test drive the next time I went dancing. I put the tape on the inside of my bra around the strap itself and in the cup to make sure that stayed in place, and then put multiple tape pieces between the bra and dress and a few directly on my skin. Let me just describe this outfit for you. A push-up strapless bra (that usually falls regardless) with a tight red knit strapless dress with just a line of rubber along the top to keep it up.Coupled with this tape, however, 5 and a half hours of salsa dancing later, this dress was still up. Granted, I tugged at it a little a few times out of my own paranoia, but this definitely changed my night from being uncomfortable and awkward, to making me feel a lot more confident and being able to let loose.Taking the tape off was hardly painful skin-wise. Sort of like taking off a bandaid, but not even that bad. I think it probably had to do with the fact that I was sweating with it and had worn it for so long.So, if you couldn't tell, I'm incredibly pleased with this product, and I'll definitely be ordering it again. It's worth every penny.

This is my first time purchasing such an item so other than my experiences with this product I do not have any reference points. I bought this tape for the specific purpose of keeping my tops from slipping via attachment to my bra/undershirt to shirt. I have found other uses such as filling in gaps left by my shorts second layer which has been pleasant. However in terms of the fashion tape use for your shirt, I think it is very important that you have enough surface area available so that when you attempt to attach the tape to your clothes it ONLY touches your clothes. I thought I had been successful in attaching it to my straps at first however it did not align completely therefore it had been rubbing against my skin all day until it just decided to give. And boy did it give at an embarrassing time. When I went to the bathroom to check only one side of the tape was still sticky to my dismay so it was virtually useless.If you purchase this item, I would not expect it to last all day and would carry a few backups in your purse or wallet. In addition, you MUST be creative with where you decide to place these as I think that is a huge factor in determining how effective the tapes will be. Considering that the tape had helped me the majority of the day (about 8 hours) and I am a novice at using these, I will be fair and give this product 4 stars. In spite of my lack of experience I am still skeptical due to one side of the tape losing is stickiness and have attributed that to its inability to withstand friction. Aside from walking around a bit I did not do a lot so I am curious as to how long the tape would remain sticky if I had decided to stroll around the park for a half hour or just spend a long time outside. I honestly doubt you could wear one tape long while doing some energy intensive activity from my experience. Even though 8 hours is a long time, it doesn't matter if you're wearing your outfit the entire day.

They don't work so well if you peel the plastic off and touch the adhesive when placing it on your skin close.The proper way to apply is to peel off the blank side first and hold on to the printed side (the tabs of the printed side extend past the edge of the tape so you can hold it easily without touching the sticky part) and place the tape where you want it. Then peel off the other side and attach to clothes/skin.Once you attach it, that's where it's gonna be. If you didn't get it quite right, it's better to just peel that one off and start over because it won't stick as well after being adjusted. But once it's on, it will hold on tight and it won't move for anything - sweat, friction, motion, nothing. These little tapes are a life saver!Removal is easy, just peel.... They do hurt quite a bit to remove (think peeling off bandaids as a kid) but that's the price you pay for getting clothes to stay where you want them. That said, I have yet to have any issue at all removing them from my clothes. I have used these to keep some pretty delicate dresses in place and they peel off the fabric with no problems at all.I think a million come in a tin so they are plenty to practice with and you'll have them for a long, long time.

I have many dresses that are either strapless or have v-necks. As a lady with a smaller chest, most of them don't have anything to support them and either slowly slip down (in the case of strapless dresses) or open right up (for v-neck dresses). This tape made all those pretty--but slightly inconvenient dresses-- usable again. I can now wear them confidently without fear of showing off my very limited goods. Overall, really easy to use and all in convenient packaging. It didn't hurt to remove it, at least for me. I will definitely be buying more.
