Set of 3 Hongdian Fountain Pen Blue Nibs (Fine, Extra Fine and Bent Nib) for Black Forest 1850, 1851, M2, 1843, 6013, 517D, 517S, 525,H1, H3, A3, 1843 and 920 Series

I bought this to see if it would fit in the all stainless steel Hong Dian pen (it does) and the bluing on this nib adds a really nice pop of color to it when you unscrew the cap. Quality wise it's the same as the nib that came with my pen, nothing really to complain about. My only problem is that I wish they sold the nibs individually instead of in packs since I only use the extra-fine nib.

I have been very pleased with the Hongidan nibs and fountain pen. I bought this pack as a back up as extra fine nibs have a tendency to bend or break. The nibs are very easy (though a little messy) to install, but the messy part is typical of a fountain pen. I highly recommend this product.

UPDATE: I tried a second set of these. they are crap. They look cool, but you can't write with them, ESPECIALLY the EF Nib, which is just scratches with some ink coming out here and there. I love my other Hongdian products. The pens and ink write so smoothly, especially for the price. Just be ware purchasing these nibs. This could be because of some unknown or unrelated reason, but these nibs don't write as smoothly as the original nib that came with the pen. I got the extra fine originally and obviously compared that to the blue tip nib first. All three of the blue tips write similarly, which is to say not as good as the original. Anyone else? I really like the pen and the ink...also the nibs look great. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or these nibs just aren't as good. I thought they would be the same exact ones, but they don't feel like it.

I need to learn how to use the bent nib, I do wish I could find these for wide nib, but I am sure I am just overlooking it. Also more colors would be awesome.

I use these every day writing they write so smooth and I do not get ink all over my hand, especially being left handed!
