Just for MenHair Color - Touch of Gray, Black-Gray. 3 Pack

This is a very good product that really works. I have oily, thin, light brown hair with a significant amount of gray. Unlike regular hair color that is a two-part system, this is a one-part system that starts to work the second it is exposed to the air. It will only active and work for 5 minutes, so as long as you don't add more to the same section you already covered, it will stop at a set amount of darkness and get no darker no matter how long you leave it on. I have used it twice so far- both times I squirted it on a real comb instead of using the included comb/tube dispenser. It get gets very dark looking on your hair after just a short time, don't freak out, almost all of it goes away in the shower. Caution- the product will stain skin a little, so if you get it on your non-scalp skin, wipe it off with a wet rag quickly. The results are very natural looking.It doesn't fade as quickly as I thought it would- perhaps 25 to 33% after 6 weeks (of course I wash daily). So the second time I used it, it ended up darker than I probably want. Next time I will have to wait to 8 or more weeks. It contains a large tube- and instructions that you should throw away the unused product (because oxygen will get in it and ruin it). But if you expel some product and cap the tube quickly/tightly, it will last a very long time (I put it in the refrigerator too, to slow any reaction). There is enough in the tube for one application for someone with longer thick hair, two applications for medium hair, and even three for short thin hair. As long as it comes out of the tube as a honey color, it is good. If it comes out dark, it is ruined because it has already activated (and it will just not dye your hair).They have changed the packaging several times. They key is you want "T25" as the color, with no other number. If you have light hair DO NOT USE THE PACKAGE that claims to be "Light/Medium Brown" which is something they went through when trying to combine the two. The Light Brown is dark enough!!!!! You have been warned :) Of the four boxes I was sent in this Amazon order, there were three variations (but all were T25)! And none of them matched the variation from the store (my first package). I will attach a photo (the far right one was from Walgreens, the two on the left were two of the three variants sent through Amazon order).

I used this for the first time about 3 weeks ago and I have been delighted with the results. I only left it on for 2 1/2 minutes - 150 seconds then I shampooed (twice). I did not tell my wife I was doing this and the results were so natural she could not tell it had been dyed, but she did start saying that "I looked great!" and my barber also said that my hair "looked good". I only used about half of the tube and put it only using my hands (with the gloves on).Before I used this, my hair was becoming increasingly white and it was starting to affect my appearance even though I am otherwise in good shape. Since I am trying to remain viable in a corporate environment at age 61, the "old man" look was definitely a problem. This product took the white out but left a natural blend of darker and lighter hairs. Somehow, it seems to color some hairs a lot but others less, all from the root to the end, which looks very natural. I look years younger but the change was so subtle that no one recognized it was dye - they just think that I just "look great". It is nice to hear. Three weeks have gone by and no need to use again. I love this product and highly recommend it. Some are saying that this color has been discontinued but it seems readily available on the net and I also found it at my local pharmacy. Perhaps the company decided to bring it back? Anyhow, I don't see any lack of supply so I am not worried about that.

Perfect with a touch of gray

I have been using this product for around 20 years and it is really great. A few months ago was the first time I had gotten it from Amazon because I could not find Light Brown at any of the usual stores. I had to use it 3 time to get the same results as usual. Turns out the 4 boxes I received were 5 and 6 years old. The product is only good for 3 years. So if you order from Amazon check the top flap. Engraved on it is a production number that starts with Z. The next 2 numbers represent the year of manufacture.

Based on inflation, this was probably a good value.

The touch of gray hair color appears far more natural than the full color alternatives. Fully colored hair looks dyed especially as one gets past 45 years of age.

No harsh chemicals and easy to apply. Handily achieves that distinctive "salt and pepper" look.
