bad taste & flavor

I first tasted this at a restaurant, when I was doing a No Sugar Challenge. I put it in my unsweet iced tea, along with lemon. Its really good! It has a tiny tiny aftertaste (goes away the more lemon you add) but it really does taste like strawberry sauce. Its a good alternative to the sugary iced coffees I usually drink during the summer.

This syrup is very sweet and very strawberry flavored, so it is not one you would use directly on a food item, because it is also very thin, as most of these syrups are. You're not going to be pouring it directly on your pancakes or anything, but adding it to another, thicker syrup works to bump up flavor and volume. And adding it to drinks - chocolate milk...ohhh...don't get me started - like plain milk, coffee, or even an alcoholic beverage is a great way to make them special without adding calories. I bought three strawberry syrups at the same time, and this is my favorite.

Not as good as the regular but better than others

Like this. Mostly with coffee. Maybe milk. Good to put over strawberries that might be more flavorful.

After finding this product stocked at a local retailer I was shocked this was DOUBLE THE PRICE so I likely won't be buying this or other flavors here on Amazon anymore. Also it created a slimy film with the other product, Rule1 clear flavored protein, I mixed it with. It may not interact this way with other things but this was my experience on this sugar free syrup.
