Decreased quality from the version I got probably 15 years ago - still better than other options
The top is so much cheaper than the old ones - the weight is shockingly different. Not sure this one will last 15+ years, but it looks nice generally. Would have probably kept the old one forever but I lost a piece to hold on the top in a move and it got a bit rusty. Still, this new one is heavier than most other options and serves its purpose. Mostly just shocked at the change in weight of the material over the years - made me wonder if this was a knockoff, but I think they just got cheaper on production. Old version pictured in second picture for comparison.

Happy Umbra is Still Making This
I just wanted to replace my Umbra Teardrop Paper Towel Holder that I have had for over 10 years. For what I paid, 10 years of use is worth it. This is exactly the same as my old one. I'm so pleased that Umbra is still making it and that I found it on Amazon. It looks nice for a paper towel holder and does the job.

Not the tear one sheet at a time model 🤨
My Umbra paper towel holder broke recently after years of used and needed a new one. Decided to give this model a try. It does it’s job as a paper towel holder but it is not like the old one I had where it tears one paper at a time. So when I try to pull one sheet I ended up with 5/6 sheets. Kind of annoying you have to hold the roll to be able to do so. I guess I did not read the description properly.

Simple and good looking paper towel holder
We just remodelled our kids' bathroom and guest bathroom in white marble porcelain and brushed nickel. I put this towel holder in the guest bathroom, so when guests visit they can use the paper towel instead of our hand towels. Keeps things sanitary for them and us.
