This Bald Eagle carbon fiber humidor is exactly what I was looking for with a modern look, and it is my third humidor purchase from Bald Eagle.It took about a week to condition it to 72% humidity with two Boveda 84% packs.The construction is superb with all the seams of Spanish cedar nicely fitted on the inside. The outside construction with its carbon fiber finish is absolutely beautiful and very detailed as well.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, and I think I'm going to order another humidor from Bald Eagle in the near future.Bald Eagle Handmade Cigar Humidors are everything a cigar aficionado would want in a good well-built humidor at an excellent price!

Shame on me for not taking the negative reviews more seriously. I seasoned the humidor as recommended per the enclosed instruction sheet, but the hygrometer displays, and remains at 48% RH. I'm wording this way because several reviews state the hygrometer is approximately 20% off (low side). This may be true, but 48% RH (factoring in the 20% delta) is still too low. If I need to buy supplemental humidity packs (Boveda) or a secondary hygrometer to nest inside the humidor that provides the accurate RH, I'd opt for a different humidor.The positive - the humidor looks great. I wish I could find another use for it, but alas, I must return. Cheers!***Update - bumped to 3 Stars***I'm updating my review to highlight the incredible customer service provided by Bald Eagle. I was proactively contacted by Mila (Product Manager) inquiring about my experience with the product. Mila followed up multiple times, going above and beyond to try and resolve issues. I was shipped a new hygrometer as well as issued a replacement humidor. With the new humidor, I did see improvement in humidity level maintenance, but the RH was still not high enough. In the end, I decided to look for a different product.For the price, especially for short-term storage, I feel this product is worth a look. If you're an avid cigar enthusiast, you might be better off looking at a higher-end (higher priced) product.

7/30/23 Since the initial review (3 stars), the seller reached out and offered to send a new hygrometer (which may have been damaged during shipping). I received it and now my humidor works perfectly. I love it and receive so many compliments on it. If you have a problem, definitely reach out to the seller, they’ll make it right.When I first received this humidor I put new batteries in it and cured it per the instructions. It stopped working within the week. I purchased new batteries and moved it to the bar thinking that maybe it was too drafty near the table...i don't know. Three weeks later it's out again, I put new batteries in it and this time, nothing. I read the reviews before I purchased it and some people mentioned that they received a faulty one. I'll reach out to the seller and see if there is something that can be done or a part I can get to replace it. I love the look of it so it has to be salvageable.

I am an avid cigar aficionado. I have what I consider to be a nice collection top quality cigars, that I keep well protected in a very well made humidor / smokers chest that even has a lock on it. I don't allow ANYONE to access my smokes, without me being there. I needed a second humidor for my special smokes that I reserve for special occasions (and hide in my dressing room). I like this Bald Eagle humidor for several reasons, the kiln dried Western Cedar is the best wood for a humidor. The construction of this one is nice and tight, seals really well. The humidifying block is exactly the right size for this box. The finish is very nice, with the carbon fiber paint job, it looks very modern. The digital hygrometer in the front is very accurate (I tested it with another hygrometer) and convenient, in the front of the box. Very pleased with this humidor. Good Purchase. Five stars.

I saw all the negative reviews and how this doesn't hold humidity. First off, replace the sensor that comes with the humidor. They sell the exact same ones on Amazon. It literally just pops out from the front by applying pressure to the back ofnthe sensor. The difference in the one I replaced compared to the new one is crazy. Way more accurate readings. Also I left my box open to allow the inside humidity of my house acclimate the box. Around 55% humidity...for a day or so. I added plenty of water (more then the recommended amount) to the supplied humidity control bar. I also added a small 72% humidity packet as well into the box. This box has been holding 65% humidity for a few days now. Just have to make sure to have a good accurate sensor. The one I got seemed to be a dud. Works great.
