Absolutely useless, catches Baby Brine Shrimp, unhatched cysts and shells all in one, easier to just let them settle in the hatcher and drain off.

It was easy and fun to use
First, it doesn’t come with shrimp eggs. I got them online from the San Francisco brand (highly rated). The YouTube tutorial is the way to see how to set it up, the printed directions are terrible. I learned that temperature makes a difference in how fast they hatch. You MUST rinse the hatched shrimp before feeding them to fish because of the salt and that is what the handy blue net is for.
