Lonely Planet Best of Canada

Across the border...
Canada probably doesn't get the attention it deserves from American travelers. It is a huge country, but many of the most popular tourist attractions are within a couple hundred miles of the U.S.-Canada border. A rich history, a diverse culture, and fantastic scenery make Canada worth an extended visit. This new Lonely Planet guide offers an organized look for the enterprising traveler. An introductory chapter summarizes the highlights. Following chapters take Canada by geographic region, hitting the major cities, the Atlantic provinces, the Prairies, the Rockies, the Pacific coast, and the remote Yukon. The text includes lots of color photographs, maps, and diagrams. Not least, there are worthwhile opinions about where to go, what to see, and why. Very well recommended as a planning resource.
