Disappointed
Overview:After being together for ten years, Sylvie and Dan have a lovely home, fulfilling jobs, beautiful twin girls and are just perfect for each other. They have a happy marriage and believe they know everything there is to know about each other. Until it's casually mentioned to them that they could be together for another sixty-eight years... and panic sets in. They quickly decide to create little surprises for each other, to keep their relationship fresh and fun. But their Project Surprise Me gradually turns into shocking discoveries.Review:This book was such a disappointment! There were parts of the story where I was gripped, but for a majority of the book, it was building up to this massive secret and when it finally came out, I was left feeling a little let down and before you knew it, the story was over! For the last chapter and a half I pretty much skimmed through the pages, because I was extremely bored. I felt myself feeling really agitated and just wanted the story to end. It’s like when you’re in a group of people and you just want to tell the one person, who keeps talking, to shut up.I’m not one to write all bad reviews. I normally write what I enjoyed and what I didn’t enjoy, but I am finding it hard to pinpoint the parts I liked! (Oh wait.. no I enjoyed the photo shoot.. that was quite funny) I’m sorry Sophie, but you seriously lost your sparkle in this one for me I’m afraid.I have 2 more books of Sophie’s stand alone books and then I’m moving on to her Shopaholic Series, which I have heard really promising things about!

Hated it
Very disappointing. It lacks the usual Sophie Kinsella wit and is dreary, gloomy and so long and plodding I wanted to cry with boredom. Yes, I read it to the end to see if it would bloom but sadly not. If you're after Shopaholic-standard charm and humour this is not for you.

This did Surprise Me but not in a good way....
I have also read every Sophie Kinsella book and have laughed my way through all her Shopahollics, loved the all time favourite Twenties Girl but her latest release was so very very disappointing. Seems like Sophie lost her sparkle in this one. Shame really. Bring back the former glory, witty banter and classic Kinsella that we all know and love please!

Mundane ...
Having just read two Sophie Kinsella books in one week I thought I'd try her lastest one .. wow, I'm struggling and I've already started skimming through pages (I'm currently on page 72) .. not sure if I'll stick with it .. Feeling like a waste of money to be honest ,,

Could have skipped this one
Normally I really enjoy Sophie k books but unfortunately I didn't really enjoy this one. Read the whole book hoping it would get better but it didn't. I would recommend skipping this one and reading another such as twenties girl
