If you're buying this for your 5 year-old there will be one that are too old for him and ones that are too easy.So, if you are buying this book for use by more than one child, say 2 or 3, of different ages, then it will be an excellent choice. Otherwise, there will be many inappropriate puzzles/stories etc. for any one child.

Great for children experiencing anxiety nervousness or insomnia. Lays great foundation for self care and coping skills before bed. My daughter is 10 years has used since age 4. Bought it for a friends kid needing some helped-he has found it helpful. Parents should start with their children.

Social skills
I have used this book within my K-2 behavior classroom. I have really enjoyed many of the activities within the book, but I wish it had more workbook style pages. I have printed the pages within the book and led groups with my students, but they don’t last as long as I would like. We spend at least 20 minutes 3 times a week on social skills and some activities last anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes. I have to make additional activities along with the book to meet the 20 minutes. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and activities within it.

Deserves More Stars!
This is the best little book. I bought one for my kids, then quickly came back to order another. It has ideas to really help them with mindfulness and emotional regulation. It is so well put together, warm, easy for kids to follow, and the games and activities are fantastic. We set aside 30 minutes each week to work on Social Emotional Learning and they get really excited about doing the Frog book. My kids are 6 & 7 and it is perfect.
