The Invasion of the Potty Snatchers by Dav Pilkey, Harold Hutchins, George Beard - Hardcover

My son and I have ADHD. We loved Pilkey's books before we even knew he had ADHD. We heard ADHD referenced in one of the first books we read from him and then did a google search to find out if he had it as well. It's nice to know about and hear about people with the disorder that actually make lemonade out of lemons as opposed to the sad stores we hear about the outcomes for people like us from psychiatrists like Dr. Barkley.

Great quality! Me and my 4 year old son enjoy these books immensely. And, as a parent, if you're a book nerd like me, you'll enjoy a nice quality hardback book, with nice quality pages...this is it! I made the mistake of purchasing a paperback version and the paper quality was cheap and more like mass production paper quality. The hardcover is very similar to the "full color" addition in terms of paper quality. It's thick and glossy. Very nice book!

Okay, it's full of potty humor and the boys defy their principal's authority regularly, but my almost 8-year old son walked past the TV, Wii, and 3DSXL to grab his book and start reading. And the giggles, snorts, and guffaws were entertaining for the rest of the family! Having raised only girls before, I have learned that boys don't naturally say, "I''m bored, do you have a good book I can read?" It takes a bit more effort. This author has created that "There's a new book out!" excitement that I wanted him to experience.

My 6yr old loves these books!! The only problem I see is it is from a child's perspective (as if another child was writing it) so there are a ton of misspelled words. So if your 6 yr old is learning to read like mine...I read the book with her and point out the words that are misspelled and let her know how to correctly spell them. Not a huge deal, just thought others would like to know that.

I got this while it was a really good deal. Cannot wait to give to my son for christmas. Came really fast.
