I thought that it’s body was plastic until I unboxed it, and it’s a pretty dope sounding mic too. Would recommend anyone looking for an XLR microphone. Worth the price imoUpdate: I dont recommend to buy this mic anymore because of the price spike, I’d recommend you to wait until COVID is over and the stocks get back to their MSRP

Does exactly what you’d expect. You must note though that this microphone does not work well with cheaper audio interfaces, so I’d advise a scarlett or behringer at a minimum, and not an off-brand one. Otherwise, fits the bill

This microphone was an excellent upgrade from the previous one I was using. Prior to this one I was using a maono caster cardoid microphone. The audio quality on this one is pristine requiring me to use no voice effects from my rodecaster duo to reach a quality sound. The microphone itself has a heavy feel with metal construction. It's done a great job at performing for all the tasks I've used it for whether it be for dm'ing my dnd games or recording my voice for games. I should note this is not a great product for plug and play gaming purposes. It requires an xlr connection and 48v phantom power. If you want something more plug and play accessible try getting the usb version of this mic. Overall though 10/10 would recommend it.

Estou escrevendo a avaliação mas na verdade quem utiliza o microfone é o meu marido, ele comprou para finalidade de gravar voz em home studio, mas na verdade o microfone não é ideal para esta finalidade, apesar de ser um microfone de qualidade, ele capta os sons do ambiente todo, sem ter a opção de escolher por qual dos lados vai captar, então no caso, acredito que para a finalidade home studio o microfone Audio technica - AT2050 serviria melhor, mas o preço é mais salgado, e tbm tem uma certa desvantagem, pois este veio com o fone e com o braço para encaixar o microfone, o AT2050 não, então se vc está começando esse seria uma boa opção, mas é necessário ter um cômodo bem isolado de sons para sair um áudio com qualidade!Obs: Não entendo muito bem dessas coisas, mas quis deixar uma avaliação para talvez ajudar!

I haven't brought myself to use this particular mic, just cuz it's limited edition and I'm just using them as an art piece essentially because they are gorgeous.BUT the AT2020 XLR are an absolute staple...you're not gonna get anywhere near the quality of a SHURE SM7B, or the durability of a SHURE SM58 - but I mean they're cool to have lol
