SunFX Caribbean Chocolat-All Natural Spray Tanning Solution(1L/33.8 fl oz, MID SUMMER)

This was just what I was looking for in terms of a superior quality spray tan solution. One coat was all that was needed for a fabulous color that has warn well with no patchiness. Very impressed. Had a group of clients of varying skin tones and the shades I purchased were exactly perfect.

After years of excessive sun exposure by tanning, I am finding sunless tanning solutions developing at an accellerated rate. I was looking for an all natural sunless tanning spray and ordered a 4 ounce bottle of SunFX Caribbean Chocolat- All Natural Spray Tanning Solution in MID SUMMER from the SunFX Store. I was puzzled when it arrived in a non-spray bottle. Reading further the instructions stated that the liquid can be used in ALL HVLP Spray Tanning sprayers. Not knowing what HVLP meant, I googled and found that HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray tanning equipment uses a turbine to disperse a high volume of air at low pressure, resulting in a finer, more consistent spray and reduced overspray compared to traditional spray guns. I do not own a professional tanning salon so do not have access to the HVLP. I read further to see if I can use a spray bottle to apply. You can pour DHA tanning liquid into a fine mist spray bottle, shake it, and then spritz your body for an at-home spray tan. While DHA is safe for topical use, inhaling the mist from a spray tan can potentially irritate the lungs. Never use aerosal tanning liquid. All natural ingredients are fine for the skin, but not for the lungs. Ingredients include Australian potent native extracts kakudu plum & finger lime caviar, Aloe & Vit E to aid in skin brightening, anti aging & promote deeper absorption and skin hydration. This ensures better skin uptake of the active tanning ingredient DHA and increased tan longevity. DHA, or dihydroxyacetone, is the active ingredient in many self-tanning products, causing a temporary darkening of the skin by reacting with amino acids on the surface. It's a sugar derivative derived from sugar beets and sugar cane. SunFX DHA will begin to activate within 1-4 hours after application. Tans typically last 7-10 days with proper care and application. Can be left on for longer to absorb more DHA and deepen the color result. As you can see, this is not an easy to use product and although it may have quality ingredients in it, the application process is complicated. I deduct a star for difficulty in using SunFX DHA SunFX Caribbean Chocolat for 4 stars.

This is a great formula! It comes in a 4oz bottle, but you do need a spray gun to use it properly. The ingredients are not on the bottle, so I went to their website to get them. The tan itself is more natural looking than other self tanners I've used. Many people will appreciate that it is all natural, paraben free, cruelty free, gluten free, vegan, and it doesn't have a strong odor.Here is a list of the full ingredients:DHA (Eco Cert) – Active tanning agent. I’ve been using the SunFX Caribbean Chocolat All Natural Spray Tanning Solution (Mid Summer) without a spray machine, and honestly—it still works pretty well! I’ve just been applying it manually, and while it’s not as perfectly even as what you’d get from a professional spray gun, it still gives a really nice, noticeable tan.The color is gorgeous—a warm, natural-looking bronze that doesn’t look orange or fake. It builds gradually and gives that just-back-from-vacation glow. Even applying it by hand, I’ve been able to get good results with a mitt and a little patience.It’s definitely not foolproof without the proper equipment, but if you're looking for a way to get a sun-kissed look at home, this solution gets the job done. Plus, it's all natural, which I love—no harsh smells or weird ingredients.If you have access to a spray machine, I imagine the results would be flawless, but even without one, I’m getting tan, and that’s a win in my book.

This goes on really nicely. Not streaky at all if you feel the need to rub it in. It does dry fairly quickly and did not transfer to any of my clothing. I feel like it did not produce a deep dark tan like I wanted, but it definitely gave me a nice light golden tan. It was pretty long, lasting too. It lasted a few days and then started to fade. I was showering twice a day just for reference.

Fabulous color no patchines. Exactly what I was looking for. Warm natural tone with just one coat. Love it

Good color and decent smell. I wasn't able to use this the way intended because my machine broke, having nothing to do with this product. I just applied a little bit to test the coverage, color, and scent. Everything was good. So aside from how it sprays I would say this is a good product.
