Boys' Potty Time

The book is nice , but is not the same like in the picture

Out of 7 potty training books aimed at children that I have bought, this one is rated the best in our house. Some of the others have fun rhymes but don't really get the potty training message across. This one is a little 'americanised' but not so much as the others we have purchased.This is the only one that has really gauged my little boys attention, and that is because the 'toilet seat' book cover has all different vehicles on it and that's what he loves. We also have a lot of fun playing with the 'toilet seat' cover and being silly with it (putting it on our heads, etc. - don't ask). It does get the message across and shows different boys so that they can relate to that - my little boy sees himself in one of the characters as it looks a bit like him.I would recommend this book for anyone getting ready to start potty training.

I was hoping this book would encourage my little boy to use his potty but it had no affect on that front. We do read the book now & again & the book is of good quality with the reward stickers being a nice added extra too!It may help some on the potty training front but it hasn’t encouraged my little one at all, unfortunately!

Bought it for my little one to help him with his potty training journey, he didn't really need it as we were reading other books while moving in the bathroom for hours. But at the end of the day he became potty trained and that is the main thing.

Thought my little 2 year old boy needed a little encouragement in the potty training department hence me buying this book.It was delivered today and my 2 year old used the potty properly today. This book certainly helped.l love the front cover..it looks like a training toilet seat has been stuck on top of it. Very realistic.What I think really helped was the book contains images of real children on potties toilets etc. Ive tried cartoonified potty books previously..but my son was really quite interested to see big boys using potties. Well it worked today at least.

This book has been invaluable in my little boys potty training journey. We bought this in anticipation of him showing interest and he still likes reading it now. It has lovely rhyming words which dont distract toddlers by stories. Give a them the facts in a short punchy rhyme. Lots of things to discuss on each page. Really recommend this book to anyone thinking of stating potty training
