Given the low price of £23 (2m version) I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and the good image quality. Set up was simple and the instructions were in understandable English. Within a few minutes I was able to view and record images on my Samsung A33 phone.For me, it served as an ideal tool for a one off job of inspecting the toilet to soil pipe seal, via a small access hole, in the base of the pan.I'm sure I'll find other uses for it in the future.

I get no picture on my phone via the prescribed app when connected to the wifi module.But the snake cam itself works fine when connected to a PC/laptop so it will still work as I need it to.

Good quality it does the job

Okay for the price, quite useful with the included tools, but picture quality leaves a lot to be desired.

I’ve seen reviews mentioning poor picture quality etc. Given this item cost £23 I wasn’t expecting James Cameron’s prototype camera for the latest titanic footage. For the tasks most will need this for, the fact that it lights up really well and focuses even with attachments on is perfect.Day one self isolating and my washing machine developed a bad grinding noise. But if googling let me know something was trapped between the inner and outer drum. YouTube video later and I had the heater element out but no sign of the item. So I ordered this.Arrived next day, within minutes it was set up and ten minutes later I’d located a bra wire, trapped in a groove at the top of the drum! It was completely jammed in the groove. I put the hook attachment on and had to be patient for near an hour until it got the correct spot and pulled it free.This is the best 23 quid I’ve spent. This would have cost me hundreds in repair fees or even a new machine. Fully paid for itself. Next job will be the shower drain which is slow to drain.For those who need it, I used Wi-Fi connection to an iPhone 12. The machine was on its side and there was water between drums at one point, the camera functioned flawlessly in the water and the picture cleared quickly once out.In summary, for the price of a Chinese meal for 3 this item is amazing for the jobs you will need it for.

Used once and seemedto work, but second time around device didn't work. Tried connecting it both to laptopand phone and both failed miserably. Cheap rubbish, good luck

Right, now I’m usually a bit of an eejit when it comes to anything that’s not powered by steam, petrol or voodoo, and I was expecting to have to call in reinforcements to get this thing to work. But naaayy!! Turned it on by pressing the big square button for a few seconds and it powered right up, good start. Yay!Scanned the QR code in the unit with my iPhone, clicked the icon uploaded the app. Yay again!Opened up my phone settings, went to wifi settings, and GREAT SCOTT! There it was just sitting there, waiting, no, begging to be clicked “WiFi check 420” so not wanting to offend, I did it, I only went n did it, I bloody well did, I clicked it! Ooooooh yeah!Next closed the settings and opened the app, and I have to say, it took me by surprise but there it was, on my screen, right there, right in front of me, a picture of my left, if I do say so myself very shapely and sexy knee.I’ve not used it for it’s intended purpose yet (checking the condition of the cylinder bores of my 1952 BSA A10) but it certainly seems like it will do the job perfectly, and with the added bonus of not having to dismantle the old girl, again!So in summary, sexy knees, tech idiot, camera works great. Proper happy!

I have to check behind a wall before I start cutting holes to repair a leaking shower on my motorhome, this piece of kit is ideal to check that Im not going to damage anything else whilst gaining access to do the repair. Easy to set up too.
