Review correction - Turns out Purina removed food coloring and preservatives from the cat food we ordered, which changed the look of this product. We ordered the "Purina Fancy Feast Wet Cat Food, Medleys Wild Salmon **Florentine** With Garden Greens Cat Food" and thought it was the "Purina Fancy Feast Medleys Wild Salmon **Primavera** Canned Cat Food". Turns out I am pleased to be wrong. Our cat still likes the flavor and is healthier for it. Thanks Purina!

(ASIN: B0012KB4X4) All of the wild salmon entrees are terrific. Cotton simply doesn't like the taste of 'wild,' if there is one. I think that, in this case, it means stronger flavor. (He doesn't like herring, sardines, or sometimes mackerel, either.) So it is his loss; the gain goes to those other cats out there with more advanced palettes. Cottie is a one-year old, for all intents and purposes still a kitten. As a Jewish mother, I had hoped that with age, his taste buds would approve more foods, but as of now they haven't, so either first impressions have stuck with him, or he just doesn't like these flavors -- you know, the ones with aromas that curl your nose hair and really stink up the room the minute the lid is removed. Periodically, I try to give him Fancy Feast Wild Salmon Florentine, but he so far proves to me the immovable object. (I have also tried the Fancy Feast Wild Salmon Tuscany (ASIN: B0012KH0LE) and Primavera (ASIN: B001STX0ZO),all purchased from Amazon. I did try fooling him, once, and I am the one who got the short end on that one. He loves Fancy Feast tuna with cheese. I mixed some of that into the wild salmon. Which not only did not do the trick, but Cotton refused to eat that favorite for a very long while, suspecting that I was trying to trick him again. It is really strange when you see your cat eyeballing his dinner in any strange way; this one took the cake! Just don't let his intractability ruin your cat's chance to enjoy something special.

1.29.26~ Hello friends and fellow people pets of cats. This is just a quick tap in on the latest quest for the fave FF flavor. If like me your search for tuna, or tuna at the old prices, has been a struggle. Maybe you discovered your chicken snobs liked turkey. Maybe you ordered from a seller who shipped the right product in the wrong packaging. Now finally your feline's faves are back at old pricing. Or are they? Here's the details on this Salmon Florentine~ * Brown gravy not white * Overwhelming fishy smell. Been microwaving 1/2 can for 15 sec with added water til smell fades * Chunky strips of salmon vs the usual chopped bits. My one girl who chomps all food with canine's can't chew unless I chop it up. Apparently you don't need to Oprah to have a private chef, you just need to be a cat. The thing is, after a week, they are eating til bowl is clean and litter movements are still normal. Yes it takes more time and effort than the usual (and the mask made a comeback) but works. Yes will probably pass on reorder of this flavor for a while bc the fish smell is rough. But also I've found alternates like FF Turkey and Reveal Tuna so not in a bind anymore. Yes it skipped a step or 2 on the usual processing but both connoisseurs approved. If this is a Must Have for your owners, absolutely click. Cheers!
