I’m a regular pipe smoker with an extensive collection, from corn cob pipes to meerschaums. This was the first pipe I bought I started to take pipe smoking seriously. It’s in my regular rotation and one of my favourite pipes. Some would say that ebony gets hotter than traditional briar, and I’d say that’s a fair comment. But if you’re new to pipe smoking, then a pipe that heats up more quickly could actually be a good thing since you need to learn how to keep things under control and when you’re over doing it. Having said that, it’s not a massive difference to briar. Quality-wise I have no complaints whatsoever, it’s very well crafted; it has nice balance and is easier to clench than most other pipes I own. I really like the stem material - whatever it’s made from. It’s easy to clean. I’ve had this pipe in my rotation for nearly two years now and there are no flaws or signs of wearing or cracking, either in the wood or the stem. For 20-odd pounds, it’s absolutely excellent value. Even if I did break mine or had some problem with it that meant it had to be thrown away, I’d buy another one straight away. You simply can’t go wrong with this pipe, either as a beginner or as a seasoned pipe smoker.

Pretty good pipe to be honest. First one I have had that’s taken 9mm active charcoal filters. Nice sized bowl. Not quite as big as my falcon but like a nice size for a slow and relaxing smoke.

Unfortunately I have to write a negative review for this item. As a long time pipe smoker I was looking forward to this new ebony pipe. After using for just around two weeks the plastic insert broke away from the inside of the stem. A very poor design. I am returning this pipe for a refund and will not be purchasing again. This is a shame as it came with some quite nice accessories and initially smoked cleanly and enjoyably. Very disappointed.

Good and decent pipe, good quality, impressive accessories and box although no photos of them on line but you will be surprised. Enjoyable smoking pipe, flawless. Delivery also excellent. Thanks

I have had this pipe for less than one week and already there are cracks appearing in the bowl. Definitely not a happy man!

I'm shocked by how much this has become my favorite pipe. Excellent build quality, looks good also.

今回この製品を購入したのは、最近20年ぶりくらいにパイプタバコを再開したから。 3本ほどパイプを持っています…使っているのは2本だけですが、煙道が細いパイプで味が少々強く感じて、フィルター交換式のパイプを購入しようと思って選びました。 価格と評価と形状でこの製品を選びました…もう１本もあるので計2本注文しましたが、追加で購入したもう１本になります。 使用した結果は、「中々良い吸い心地」です。 届いてまず確認…紙箱入りでいろいろ入ってますね、巾着袋、パイプ置き、クリーナーモール、ブラシ、セットタンパー、フィルター、スクリーン、コルク、吸口ゴム。 某国製らしいと聞いているけれどパイプの仕上げも悪くないですね、艶が多少足りないとは思いますが、この値段なら十分でしょう。 パイプ形状はオーソドックスなビリヤード型、サイズ的にも普通ですね、吸っている最中に木皿に置くにはホルダーが必要…私はホルダー代わりに100均で買ったドレッシングカップを使って置いています。 チャンバー部の径は20mm程度、深さは少し深め、チャンバーにカーボン？塗りが有り、煙道は3mm径程度から太いダボ穴になったシャンク、9mmフィルターが付けられる大径マウスピース…ボウル部はスタンダードサイズだと思うので重さは大丈夫そう。 口に咥えていられるけれど、ビリヤード型だから咥え続けるのは現実的じゃないかな、吸うたびに手で持って吸い終わったら木皿に置く…を繰り返すかな。 ちなみに私は木皿…というかほぼお盆だね…の上に喫煙具全部を乗せて喫煙しています。周りを汚さないようにする為ですが、お盆風木皿、パイプタバコ葉揉みほぐし用の陶製皿、パイプ置き代わりのドレッシングカップ、キッチンペーパー、ノズル折れ曲がり式ライターの5点は100均製、灰皿、タンパー、ピック、クリーニングモールは昔購入したもので全部tu〇eブランドです。 さて実際に喫煙していきます…今回のタバコは新しく買ったタバコ葉のうち…キャ〇テンブ〇ックにしようか…オリジナルとチェリー…オリジナルにしようか、着香系だけどまあいいや…。 取りあえずカーボンを追加で付けたいので、ボウルの4/5になる様にタバコを詰めていきます…軽く・ちょっと軽く・ちょっと固めに…の3段階。 詰め終わったらマウスピースから軽く吸ってみます…うん、ちゃんと吸えるね、詰まり過ぎてはいない様…。 早速吸っていく…火を付けてタンパーで抑えて、火を付けてタンパーで抑えて…ちゃんと付いたら吸いながらタンパーで抑えて…吹き戻して…。 …甘～い香りが良いね、フィルター通っているから少し軽めかな…でも美味しい…。 3回吸ったら1回吹き戻して1回吸ってタンパーで抑えて、を繰り返しながら吸っていく…時々ドレッシングカップに乗せて木皿の上に置いて、飲み物を飲んだり軽く何か摘まんだり…火が消えちゃったらまた火を付けて…はぁ…甘～い。 吸い終わってしばらく置いて、パイプが冷えてからタンパーピック等を使って吸い殻を掻き出す…初使用だから慎重に…。 軽く掘ったらひっくり返してパイプを灰皿にコンコンと叩きつけて…う～ん、思った以上に過加湿気味だね、吸っている最中に多少ジュルジュルとジュース音がしたし…。 燃えカスの湿りが強い…パイプをちゃんと乾かして常温にしないといけませんね、着香系はジュースが出やすい気がするので気を付けないとね。 パイプが完全に冷えてからマウスピースを外してフィルターをチェック…うへぇ結構べちょっと濡れているな、吹き戻しの呼気の湿気も馬鹿にならない。 フィルターを捨ててモールクリーナーで掃除。 掃除が全部終わったらフィルターを入れて組み立て直し、100均で購入したタッパーに除湿剤と一緒に入れて一晩放置…1日経ったら喫煙パイプを保管している別の大型タッパーに保管…本当は着香系用パイプと非着香系用パイプを分けて保管した方が良いらしいけど、本数少ないから気にしないことにしています。 今回の総合評価は5にします。 良いですね、この価格なら十分普段使いにできます。 …うん万円もするパイプで喫煙なんて怖くてできません…金持ちいいなぁ…。 減点しないけど仕上げがいまいちだとは思います…。 ですが、車用のカルナバワックスを薄～く塗りこんでバフ掛けを繰り返したらメチャメチャピカピカになったのでお勧めです。 使ったのはザイ〇―ルのディ〇ィールワックスです。

J'ai chercher longtemps une pipe a fumer en bois dans les magasins ... je l'ai trouver la pipe parfaite avec celle ci! Se nettoye facilement, confortable a fumer et j'ai adopter l'utilisation de filtre au charbon. Les filtres charbon et scrignes de metal en boule sont cher, mais ca vaut la peine. J'ai acheter des tiges speciale de qualité pour le nettoyage de pipe en bois. Je deteste laver ca d'habitude, mais la c'est facile. Avant, J'en achetais des pipes neuves en bois a chaque fois, mais c est rendu difficile a trouver sur le marcher. Avec celle la et les outils que j'ai acheter, ca facilite vraiment le nettoyage vue que je l'utilise au quotidien. Je prefere ca au vapoteuse electronique, pipe en silicone ou au joint et de loin! Je ne pourrais plus m'en passer. Les pipes en bois sont meilleur au gout a mon avis. J'en ai acheter 2. Une pour le tabac que je fais pousser et l'autre pour le ca*abis. Ca fais plus d'un an que je l'utilise. Je recommande !

Ich habe mir zuerst die negativen Kommentare durchgelesen und dann die Positiven. Ich habe mich trotzdem entschieden der Pfeife eine Chance zu geben. Ich bin soweit zufrieden, die Pfeife ist wunderschön gemacht, schlichter look und etwas schwer wenn man sie nur im Mund raucht. Man muss sie mit den Backzähnen halten wenn man keine Hand frei hat. Die Hitze hält sich gut, nur wenn man am kurz am Ende des Rauchens angekommen ist, wird die Pfeife etwas zu warm und ich muss meine Finger neu positionieren. Zuglich weiß ich aber bescheid, dass der Tabak am Ende ist. Was nicht so negtaiv ausfällt. Das Zubehör ist super, aber bitte lässt die Finger weg von den Kohlefiltern. Schmeißt sie sofort weg. Die Kappen sind aus Plastik und schmelzen beim rauchen und du atmest Plastik ein. Glaubt mir das wohlt ihr nicht. Konträr zu den anderen negativen Bewertungen. - Der Metallring ist nicht abgefallen und hällt sich fest. - Das Holz hat keine Risse bekommen beim rauchen. Dies passiert nur wenn die Pfeife feuchtigkeit zieht (Mit Wasser gereinigt, was man nie machen sollte. Nur mit Alkohol reinigen.) oder zu viel Hitze entstanden ist, was Selbstverschulden am Ende ist. - Ja die Filter sind absoluter Schrott. - Nein der Filter Durchmesser ist nicht 8mm, ich habe normale 9mm Filter ohne Probleme reingesteckt. Falls jemand eine engere Bohrung hat, der kann mit einem Bohrer diese um 1mm aufweiten. Sehr zufrieden.
