I was looking for a suitable cage for my recently rescued Eclectus parrot. I wanted a cage that was close in size to his previous cage without breaking the bank. I looked all over from stores, to websites, to people I knew that had birds and extra cages. I came across this cage after a while of searching and the measurements matched what I was looking for. I read another review on this cage that someone purchased it for their Eclectus and she even added a picture of it, that won me over. The cage came before expected and in great condition. It was slightly bent but metal bends and it was an easy fix. The directions were very minimal but if you follow the pictures and have some common sense it's super easy. There is more than enough room for my boy and his toys. The play top also won me over because other cages that are smaller than this one without a play top cost more than this did. It is just an overall great cage and I am highly pleased with it. I will totally be purchasing another one when we get another bird! Here is a picture of it all set up!

Awesome! My GCD Fireball loves it. This is a MASSIVE cage. I am 5.8 and this towers above me at almost 6ft (with the play pen excluding the tall toy.) The living space reaches my shoulders. My GCD loves it so much he will go BACK IN to play. Basically this means he is happy and enjoys himself in it, and it also means there is a lot of space for him. I had searched A LOT of cages for large enough dimensions, product handling, safety, amenities (like coming with bowls, perches ect), great looks and of course, affordability. This meets ALL the above requirements. You will not find such a massive good looking cage with amenities for this price anywhere else. When i was looking for cages I said that trays, and "guards" were a must. They were work brilliantly, and my GCD and cockatiel like to hang out on the cage, as the drop poo it will be caught by the guards regardless. I went from a cage w/out guards ect to this cage and it really keeps your area looking nice and clean. NEG: assembly was pretty tricky near the end with the play pen- well worth it in the end. One part came slightly bent but that is the risk of shipping products via amazon. It is not noticeable. I will buy another one soon for my cockatiel!

Spectacular cage! I went to a bird show recently and figured out what size cage I want for my Eclecus Parrot. Then saw the prices. Came here and started searching. I was shocked to say the least to see this cage! Not only was it the exact same case, but this case had the added feature on top of the gym!!! The next best part was that the price between this one and the one at the show were almost the same price! So my baby gets the added gym!More great features...where to start! From the top down...The gym. It has two bowls up top so she can eat and drink while playing her heart out! I put a toy hanging from the middle of the loop. She can walk around in the top tray, I lined it with newspaper so it's not so slippery, plus catch her droppings (less cleaning on me), and she can rip the paper too. There are two perches to choose from to sit on. The only part that I don't like is the tall hook. It is floopy and instructions say anchor it to the wall. You can get the cage close enough to the wall due to the bottom and I don't want an anchor in my wall so I left it off. The try slides out to hose off for cleaning! Yes!Next...Inside...The front door has two nice features, it has a swinging metal flap on top incase the door is not locked the bird can't swing the door open! The door latch you have to push closed and it's spring button loaded. The bird figures this out, that's a smart bird!!! No escapees! The food doors, I have her water on the opposite side as her food since she slings her food around. This will keep her water cleaner longer. I keep her crunchy snacking on food in one dish and change out her veggies in her other dish. The doors are great because they are latches too and swing out. My girl loves to jump on my arm when I reach inside so having outside access is great!The bottom...That pan slides out for easy cleaning as well! The slanted catches could have been made to lean out further but I just put towels under to catch the extra stuff. The next cool part is all the wheels lock!Overall, I'm very happy with this cage! I couldn't have picked a better cage for what I was looking for!!!!

I was very happy with this cage. It arrived pretty much in one piece other than a few minor bends which were corrected easily with a rubber hammer. Assembly was easy, and my bird enjoys the play top.Everything was great until I cleaned it with my power washer which I use on all of my other cages. After washing it, I set it in the sun to dry. A couple of hrs., later I saw holes that were left near the ends of the frame tubes that had apparently filled with water and leaked rusty water down the cage.I know the holes were probably needed during the welding process or something but they should have been filled before the powder coating was done.

I have a California cage for my other parrot, and purchased this one. If you look from far back it looks pretty solid, but in the close up it doesn't look so good. Upon the delivery some panels were bent a bit, but in overall putting the cage together was a matter of 20 minutes at most. Fairly good fit. I wasn't suppose to adjust anything. The construction of the little doors/food cups is not so convenient when it comes to cleaning..

Nice cage, has some sharp corners that cut me deep, so be careful when assembling it.

Great item for a small to medium parrot. Damaged slightly in shipping, but fine otherwise. Great value for this size cage.

It is not as well built as I expected.....It also arrived poorly packaged and had concealed damage as the top of the cage was bent out of form.
