Good value for the money.
This is a blind dead bolt (thumb turn on the inside only, blank on the outside). Required in some jurisdictions for rental property. Kwikset brand, works great, and value priced. Have seen these in silver, polished brass, antique brass and antiqued copper (black)

Just like the ones at home depot for a fraction of the price!

Be careful not to drill hole all the way through the door.
No guide for how deep to drill hole without going all the way through the door.Watch the guide bit as well as the saw.

It’s what I needed!
Fits great and looks good (polished brass). It’s an exact replacement for what was installed in the door. Be careful to not over tighten the machine screws that secure the plate to the tumbler assembly- it’s plastic that the screws anchor into.
