Super easy installation! Works great!

I was very excited to put this on as I have the transmission cooler already but this oil cooler gave me trouble I had a really bad oil leak I thought maybe I installed it incorrectly but after taking it off and loosing about 3q of oil trying to figure it out it turned out to be the banjo fittingSupper bummed outnow I have to order a new one hoping that one will fix the problem

Works great. Installation directions could be better. Use a standard 1/2" 27mm socket from lowes and a torque wrench to tighten the banjo fittings. I can't remember the torque but if you live chat with mishimoto they will be able to tell you. Adjustable wrench will damage the soft aluminum and improper torque will cause leaking.

This is an excellent quality kit that supplied everthing needed to install. Was delivered on time and Mishimoto does an excellent job of protecting the product. The cooler itself was in its own box sandwiched between soft foam on each end. Yes it is pricey, but quality parts and I was limited on time. Mishimoto provides a video and written directions so the steps are there. Neither show plainly how the brakets are installed so that took extra time. They also do not explain which hose goes where. Of coarse they recommend that a licensed mechanic do the intall. Who can afford a shop to do all your installs? Some online research to verify which hose goes where. It took alot of adjustment to get the hoses and the cooler in the right position. Certainly not as easy as the video implies although doable for someone who has the proper tools. Installed on a 2007 JKU.

Price could be more competitive but overall it does as advertise and was reasonably easy to install. I installed this along side the matching transmission oil cooler.
