A great quality phone for a great price
I bought this phone because we are looking for resistance, durability, longevity, and quality.I wanted a phone that was affordable and powerful, and this phone checks both of those boxes. At first I thought that the screen was too big, but then I started using the split screen, and I'm hooked. There's not much to say about the rest; great battery life, excellent fingerprint reader, and quite useful "Smart" button on the side, to which you can assign three different functions (Depending on whether you press it once, twice, or hold it).Great value for your money. If you're paying more for the big brands, I personally think you're just paying for a brand and a logo, and hence mostly wasting your money. The Oukitel WP8 does the job and it does it great.

Worst phone!
I really wanted to like this phone the screen was very good nice camera and very durable.Everything I wanted in a phone.Unfortunately after less than 3 WEEKS!!! The phone would not take a charge anymore.I contacted the company via email, at first I thought things would be alright I could get a refund then they just blew me off. No response for weeks.I started to send a new email every few days and no response and it has been months. So it looks like I am stuck with a 200 dollar paper weight.Worst customer service and just a horrible experience.

Not a Good Phone
Do not buy this phone. After 1 month the speaker in the earpiece doesn't work so I have to take all calls on speaker phone. Find something better. Should be easy.

Love this phone but... (Cricket Wireless compatibility)
I've been using a Oukitel W5 rugged phone for several months and I *love* it. It's sturdy and heavy and tough and runs for over 2 days on a single charge. I'm not sure, but it might be possible to jumpstart a car with it. But it was on the small size (well, everything's relative, and 5.5" is probably too large for some, not large enough for others, etc.). This phone has a larger screen, and thinner body, and a similar ruggedness/battery as the W5.I really wanted to keep this phone! However, Cricket Wireless just introduced some new thing that all devices need to be compatible with their HD Voice platform. The old Oukitel is compatible, but this new phone is not. And the only way to know for sure is to check the IMEI (no one at Cricket can tell me what specifications are necessary to qualify, just a short list of devices they sell that will all qualify and check the IMEI otherwise.I don't know if this will work with T-Mobile or Mint or other GSM carriers. I would have kept it and kept using it if Cricket hadn't required this new standard. All of that is a Cricket thing, not Oukitel. However, I rated it 4-stars because it uses micro-USB and not USB-C (which my older phone uses). Charging is slower as a result. Still, a really great phone--responsive, thin, great fingerprint reader integrated into the side.

Great Phone
I have only had the phone for about a week and so far no issues. Firstly it is surprisingly light for a rugged phone. The built quality is great with metal bumpers around the phone's perimeter. Second there was no pre-loaded software like what others phones comes with. Thirdly I can get about a day and a half of battery life, with light to moderate usage. the camera and videos quality although not up to par with samsung or iphone is still very good. I was worried about the call quality but even that is great, I can hear the person on the other end clear and vice versa

It Broke on me Within a Month!
Great looking phone. Was very excited to receive it and while there were a few glitches with its operating, they were minor. What was not minor, was that within a months time, the phone would no longer accept a charge. I used different charges, paid $60 for it to be looked at by a phone repair shop and nada, phone is no longer usable. I recall the charger getting hot the day or so prior after a brief time of charging and shortly thereafter, the port fried. Bottom line, the charging port fried within a month after normal use.Cool phone, enticing price, yet -- not worth it. Amazon refunded me and odds are, I won't be using OUKITEL again.

I am a little disappointed in this phone
Where to begin.... So this phone performs smoothly. Apps load quickly. Etc.However, I've been fighting with getting the notifications to properly display, and well, notify me. I use social media apps a lot, so I like to be kept up to date whenever I get a message or reaction. I've come to discover that all apps have all notifications permissions set to deny by default. For each and every app you install you have to manually give each app permissions in regards to notifications. But even then I still only receive notifications from apps like Discord if the app was opened recently (a few minutes ago) and if I leave that app in the background too long it stops notifying me. Also, I've noticed that the settings for app notifications frequently reset themselves to the default (all permissions denied) and I keep having to set them back so I can keep receiving notifications. I only know about this because I went to the settings to check. I didn't change anything, the phone reset those settings all by itself. If you have alternate apps for sms texting, such as Facebook Messenger or Textra (both of these apps can be used for sms) stay away from this phone. The issue I mentioned above causes issues with 3rd party sms apps. I paid for Textra because I like the customization options, so I'd prefer to use that over the preinstalled sms app, Messages. Using Textra is ill-advised, as it would turn out, because I was able to send texts using the app but I never received texts back unless the app was open in my hands. (This issue applied to Messenger as well) so I cannot use sms apps other than the built Messages app (which doesn't seem to have issues receiving texts) or else I run the risk of missing important text messages. This is all incredibly frustrating, however the one takeaway I can see is the camera. Takes great pictures, but I hardly think that justifies paying almost $200 for a phone with these big issues.
