Hitler's Alpine Headquarters Paperback – November 6, 2020

This is by far the best book on Hitler's home. Most others are in German and don't have a fraction of the pictures this book has. This book is loaded with pictures. By far the best book on this subject

Very informative. I've read several similar, but this provides nice detail.

Excellent read! This is about Hitler's hideaway where he met with and entertained certain world leaders. It is also somewhat "proof" of his mental illness. There were many more structures which were built for when Hitler had overthrown just about everyone. Quite an interesting peek into his mental status and the many people who blindly followed him. I had hoped to get the book that accompanies the series, but it seems that certain "censorship" is happening, as they won't let it into Quebec! Strange, isn't it?

Although an interesting book of the various buildings in Hilter’s Alpine compound it was not exactly as I expected. I thought this was to be a description of the day to day detailed account of the operation and use of the structures. I would have enjoyed reading about who went there, when, why and the safe guards that the Nazis put in place to protect Hitler. The day to day operation and running of this retreat. How often he used it and even what he did there to unwind.

Prompt deliver and wonderful photos and details. I visited "Eagles Nest" when I was an "Army Brat" in the mid-1960's which helped encourage my interest in history.

Cannot beat the price and product.

The book is full of photos including structures I had not seen before. Downside is there are some grainy unfocused or unclear photographs, which could have been improved with todays technology from the originals.
