I installed this exact system at a hotel and love it. I usually install Dahua cameras and NVRs and am accustomed to programming static IPs in each camera, forwarding ports in the router and buying software to view them remotely. This system is much easier. I simply connected each camera to the NVR's powered ethernet ports. The NVR found each camera and gave it an IP. I then downloaded the free FLIR software to my phone and laptop, scanned a barcode on the top of the NVR, and was viewing the cameras remotely in minutes. It even worked after the internet service provider changed our main IP address. If all you want to do is pull some wire and scan a barcode, this is the one to get.
