Good coffee for instant coffee
Not much to add to what other reviewers have said. It taste pretty good for instant coffee! I use two packs with right under 8 oz of water. If you exclude the nice small thermos, it’s about 60 cents a cup. Speaking of the thermos, I was pleasantly surprised! It was a light yellow colored one with a Disney theme. I thought about removing the Disney art, but why bother? I could see myself purchasing again! I initially got the Maxim 3 in 1 coffee sticks. It’s not bad, but I generally don’t add sugar and cream to my coffee.

30 cents for a cup of coffee, not bad at all
When I lived in Korea I abandoned my coffee machine because it was wasteful to make all that coffee to myself. Buying Kanu there was 10 cents a cup, and I found that the coffee I bought at the university (where I worked) for 2 dollars was worse in taste than this instant coffee! It is the richest instant coffee I have ever tasted. So, coming back to the USA, it is still worth it. I bring the sticks and the cup with me wherever I go, you can always find hot water and have the cheapest delicious coffee ever.

Decently good coffee, very good instant
This is the medium strength Kanu coffee by Maxim. This coffee is pretty decent. I'd say it's as good as most quality diner coffee (its main competition in a travel terminal), better than most airplane coffee (my main use case), and certainly better than conference coffee (my other, usually eventual, use case). It has one chocolate note that it holds strong. It reminds me of a good quality Vietnamese Robusta I purchased here on Amazon as an experiment. It has a slight sweetness and I didn't get bored of it but I also doubt I'll find myself ever pining for it.Compared to other unsweetened/black Maxim products I think the variety pack is the better buy. It has less coffee for the same money, but the flavors are far more interesting. Now, as for the included gift, I got a white and wood veneer travel tumbler. It holds about 11.5oz and is very sleek, It is narrower than my 16oz Contigo travel mug, which will likely lead to it coming on airplane trips where space is at a premium. I have not tested how long it will keep things hot, but it does not seem to be as well insulated as my Contigo. Will I buy this again? Maybe. At 100 sachets it's a great value and maybe I'll deviate from my norm and add a sweetener packet or a half and half and treat it at "diner coffee"

Excellent coffee, great packaging
MAXIM KANU mild minis are my everyday, drink-at-home coffee. I started drinking it when I went to Korea, and I was so glad to be able to buy it in the US when I came back. I love the taste and convenience, but more importantly, it doesn't cause the stomach pain I get from some other kinds of coffee. The price is a little high, but it's definitely worth it.

My favorite instant coffee
I love fresh ground, singe origin coffee but at home, this is my go-to. The flavor is light, mild, and fragrant but it packs a punch of caffeine and I know this because i tried to use 2 packets at a time and I was so hype I almost threw up.

Easy morning coffee prep
I've been having some executive function issues in the morning, so I ordered these Maxim Kanu instant coffee sticks. They've been very helpful in easing my entry into the day by making swift and efficient coffee supremely achievable at daybreak.
