be under no illusions, this is a specialist product for a very specific purpose. it is a standard thin aluminium blanket. it has the same camo pattern and shine as the titan survival blanket, but is bigger. it's not as big as the titan XL but that one only comes in orange. so this is probably the best one on the market if you want a more discreet colour.but be under no illusions, it is a delicate material. it will rip and tear, if you're not careful, like all similar products will. it is not a ripstop silnylon tarp. if you want a proper tarp of similar size, try the DD Superlight Small, or the Onewind FP2514OD - these will fit in a large pocket but are not nearly as small as an emergency foil blanket. emergency foil blankets are barely noticeable in the pocket, they pack down so small.these DDITW foil blankets come rolled up the size of a big toe, each one packed in its own little stuff sack. titan's come packed flatter but longer and wider - this is more of a thick cylinder. but upon opening, they're packed pretty much the same, just the final line of folds are different.personally i carry two of these if i'm expecting to want to use them. and i carry a flat strip of camo gorilla tape folded over itself a few times. this allows me to join two blankets together, for a nice a-frame setup, and i can reinforce the corners for tiedown if needed, and repair any rips on the fly.while my order didn't initially arrive by the estimated date, i contacted the sender FCY IT CONSULTANCY LTD - they apologised and didn't hesitate to put in a claim for the missing item and send me another, which i received today. so while it eventually came later than initially expected, i appreciate the sentiment and am happy to rate this a 5 star product. after all, if i want an emergency blanket, this is probably the best one on the market - about equal to the titan camo but wider - theirs was a bit too narrow and their XL only comes in orange which is not how i roll.
