PERFECT cabin bag
I ADORE this case and get loads of compliments on it. I did a lot of research on cabin / carry-on bags before I bought this. If you're in the early stages - some things to consider. (1) Hard or soft (I'm talking about suitcases, get your mind out of the gutter!) - hard is probably more important for cases that get checked b/c they get banged around more, however I just like the style / look of hard cases. Also, you can 'overpack' some soft cases - which may make them larger than the allowable size, but you can't overpack hard cases. The one drawback of hard cases is the lack of outside pockets - which I really wanted - but since I carry a large purse when I travel, its really not a big deal - the only time when this matters is for those stickler airlines (EasyJet) that only allow 1 carry-on - literally - with no allowance for a purse / computer bag. There are some hard cases out there that are trying out an external pocket (Samsonite), but they seem to take up a lot of the interior space, so I chose to not go that direction. (2) 2 wheels or 4 wheels - most soft cases are 2 wheeled, most hard cases are 4 wheeled. I'd say the only reason to go 2-wheel is if you want the extra space. 2-wheeled bags have the wheels built into the corners of the case, whereas 4-wheeled bags have the wheels sticking out from the end of the bag - so you'd lose about 2-3" of length. One thing to keep an eye out for - in the description of some bags, the wheels are not always included in the total length (which is dumb) - for example I found out that Delsey doesn't include the wheels in their length description. Antler does. 4-wheelers are MUCH easier to navigate down narrow spaces, and its much easier to set a second bag on top of it without having it topple off. Another consideration about wheels is how durable they are - this (and the zipper & handle) are probably the components that will go first. The wheels on the Antler seem pretty good, they're crap on my gravel driveway.. but pretty much all luggage wheels are. (3) Size & weight - best to maximize size for the airlines you'll be travelling... Some of the cheaper European airlines (EasyJet / Ryanair) require carry-ons to be smaller than many larger / N. American airlines. I found this case to be one of the largest ones out there (largest volume). Most airlines don't have a weight restriction for cabin bags... but some do - you don't want your bag to contribute much to the overall weight if this is an issue. (4) Other odds n' ends that might be important to consider: lock (TSA accessible), adjustable handle, scratch resistance of the case finish (this case has a slight texture & is matte), warranty (Antler provides a 10yr warranty). This bag ticks all the boxes!! I travel a lot by plane & train and this bag has made my travel experiences SO much better in the last 2 months. Plus its red - I love it!!!UPDATE: 1 year later and I still LOVE this bag. It does have quite a few scratches on it - but that is pretty unavoidable, and at least they don't really show b/c the case is matte (I previously had a shiny red case and the scratches went through the red layer and showed silver, so were very noticeable and grubby looking). Everything has held up beautifully - the interior fabric, zips, mesh, pockets, etc. and the main zip and lock - even when I stuff it to its gills! Also, nothing has ever broken inside this case, and even I sometime stow my computer in here (not when checked into the hold obviously, but in other travels). The case also still wheels / glides very nicely - there doesn't seem to be any loosening in the handle or wheels. The 4-wheel option is DEFINITELY the way to go, I will never go back to 2 wheels. The only drawback to 4 wheels is that the case can roll away if you don't have it set against something (why don't they put a simple locking mechanism on the wheel?). But 4 wheels makes the case very easy to navigate in all situations. With 2 wheels, you are forced to tow the bag behind you, but with 4, you have the option of pushing it - which is a lot easier on your shoulder / arm. I'm (still) very happy with this case, I think I will have it for many years to come.

Great design and build quality.
I do a lot of travelling for business and over the years have worn out more than a few types and makes of suitcase. (or rather the airport baggage handling has!). Cheap luggage is a waste of money for me so when I was able to get this Antler suitcase at a good price I decided to give it a go.I bought the smaller cabin sized version of this first and that has worked well so getting the bigger one was an easy choice. The ABS they are made from is soft and flexible, not the hard brittle material often used on other cases so its going to take the knocks much better. Handles zips etc. are all neatly fared into the shape of the case reducing the risk of them getting ripped off as it travels through the airports baggage grinding system. The main zip is very chunky and strong and the built in lock is positive and neat.Inside is neat and uncluttered, A strong mesh divider separates the two shells and zips closed to hold everything in the top section. A neat zipped flapped pocket down one edge for tucking away those small items. A simple, yet strong and effective, retaining strap system holds everything in place in the bottom section so your clothes do not look like they came out of the tumble drier on arrival at your destination. The uncluttered design of the inside allows you to pack neatly and optimise the use of the space.Only time will tell if its up to the job of travelling with me but experience tells me its got a very good chance because of the built quality. On a trip to India soon and that usually sorts the good from the bad in luggage! Will update if there are any issues.June 2019 update.Still going strong after many trips across the world. No signs of wear and tear which is pretty amazing. Love this and the cabin size one I also have.

Incredible value, lightweight and highly mobile large suitcase!
Fantastic lightweight highly mobile 8 wheel suitcase that makes it a breeze to push two per hand concurrently. There literally aren't any other cases I've come across that make multi handling so easy.Well built, resilient and with TSA combination lock these should be the top of any prospective buyer's list. The bright colour also stands them from the crowd on a busy luggage conveyor belt.Buy Antler with confidence, a well respected and reliable brand.I travel for over 300 days a year and wish I'd had these 4 years ago at the beginning of this job.

Antler Suitcase Juno 4-Wheel Case, Large, 110 Liters, 79cm
I bought the large 79cm version of this case and it's been used on international travel and stood up well to this, we all know how "careful" baggage handlers are and this case has passed with flying colours! This is a flexible hard case which I think is a great balance as it's not rigid so won't crack like solid hard cases, made from Polypropylene which seems very tough and stands up to knocks and drops well absorbing the shock. The internal pockets and straps secure your clothes nicely inside to stop them moving about and keep everything nicely folded and are high quality. It has a fixed TSA combination lock which is the lock you want for international travel, it means no damage will be done to the locks by security if they do need to get your case open they can use their special key.Everything on this case seems high quality, from the internal pockets and zips to the wheels and locking system. The 4 wheels roll smoothly and are much easier to navigate about with than 2 wheels, the only drawback being that it could roll away if you're on transport like tube or bus you'll need to wedge it up against something or lay it down.Would definitely recommend this case, it comes with a 10 year Antler warranty, I doubt I'll have to ever use it but it's reassuring of the quality which is up there with my Samsonite's!

Molto delicata

Ultra lite, very functional, holds a ton.
Ultra lite, very functional, holds a ton. Pretty much all you can ask for a piece of luggage. It's great for checking in on a long trip (or if sharing baggage space with family). Easy to find, and it's cheap enough that I don't really worry about the inevitable scratch. The sides are sturdy, but they are think, so it's not as rigid as you might expect. That can make using the zipper a little tricky, but the savings in weight is more than worth the tradeoff with the zipper. In case you can't tell from the image or the description, this is too large for carry-on on any airline.
