🖊️ Write Your Legacy with Style!
This Historic Wax Tablet, measuring 3.5 x 4.5 inches when closed, is a beautifully crafted writing tool made from oak and beeswax, featuring historic pigments. Handmade in the USA, it comes with a choice of a wood or hand-forged bronze stylus, making it a perfect blend of tradition and functionality.

Medieval memo pad!
Historically accurate. I purchased the bronze stylus. The smell of the wax adds to the authenticity. It's a Medieval memo pad! Love it. Recommend.

extremely useful
i bought this on a lark, to be honest.i like old things - things from before electricity, motorcars, and digital EVERYthing - so this was right up my alley.turns out, it was an amazingly useful (and eco-friendly) purchase.you see, i do a lot of stuff that requires i make frequent notes. notes that normally would be written on paper (which i then recycle). but with this, i can make my notes, edit and update whatever i need to, and then just scrape the wax back into a "blank" state for the next set of notes.i COULD do the same thing with a dry-erase board, but those use plastic markers which eventually have to be thrown away, whereas this uses a piece of natural, biodegradable wood. if the stylus ever breaks, i can make a new one and use the old one as mulch for the garden.and on top of that, it's a hit with the SCA/medieval reenactment crowd

Very cool looking, but no instructions for safe handling or maintenance and not the best quality
It looks very cool, but it only comes with the tablet and stylus and no instructions for actual maintenance or safe use. It would be nice to have some authentic historical information about it. Either way while it looks cool, it doesn't have the best quality and doesn't seem to have as much historical value as a replica without instructions on maintenance or how it was used in the past.

Like what the Romans (and Zechariah) Used
This came exactly as advertised - a wooden diptych, with rectangular areas on both sides. I got (and recommend) the bronze stylus. This is probably very similar to the tablet that Zechariah requested in the Gospel of Luke 1:63.

Beautiful work.
I got one for my Medieval History course to show the students. It was a great way to get them involved.
